Follow-up with a thank you page. The thank-you page is a great way to guide visitors to other related material on your website that they may be interested in. Providing this added info in the initial landing page would have been distracting and could have led visitors away from making a conversion. However, now that you’ve sealed the deal, the thank-you page is the perfect place to suggest related products, guides and information your audience may find helpful, or links to other parts of your site, such as your company blog.

In online marketing, a landing page, sometimes known as a "lead capture page", "static page" or a "lander", or a "destination page", is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on a search engine optimized search result or an online advertisement.[1] The landing page will usually display directed sales copy that is a logical extension of the advertisement, search result or link. Landing pages are used for lead generation. The actions that a visitor takes on a landing page is what determines an advertiser's conversion rate.[2]

Thank you so much for this review. I was under the click funnels illusion, and after reading other experiences, and your objective comments, I think Lead pages will be m best choice. Plus the 97.00 a month aka 1200.00 a year is way out of my budget, since, I’m just starting and really want lead capture and landing pages more than anything. Don’t have a product to sell either. Thank you once again for the fantastic review on these important products!
You also have your email integration for your email service provider of choice. That's where all of this lives. For instance, I can choose my MailChimp account here or my Actionetics account, again, that's part of the Etison Suite that I was mentioning. I have the Etison Suite for everything that I do. And then the way the screen or the pages are constructed are in three or four, technically, but really three different ways. You've got sections, which, if you see my mouse hovering here, you can see the light, see phone green, these are the sections. Then you have rows, which are the blue that you see here, and you've got elements inside of rows and they're the orange elements.

Hello – at first looking at the Imbound plugins for landing pages – call-to-action -and Imbound forms- I thought “what a great system plugin for WordPress. However – after creating a landing page and then tring to utilize the call to action by placing the shortcode in the landing page – it does not show up.These are the most important function of them all! So then I created an Imbound form instead for Email and although it seems to work – I find out later when testing it does not send out any email when tested. I wondered why I did not get any responses – not even one! Not to my notification email or to the one who subscribes. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and advertised the landing page, and now I do not know whether I have gotten any responses or not. I tried to get support earlier on when attempting to use these plugins because the help videos just disappeared after navigating away one time. I cannot find any directions or videos – nor can I get any support response. So it seems to be a good idea gone bad to me. Mistakes and malfunctions can and do happen with a lot of plugins, but the worst thing in the world is not getting any support what-so-ever! So I suppose there is not a lot of “going Premium” with these plugins.

Have a flawless design. Information architecture comes into play here, as it’s important for a landing page to have a clear, crisp design that leaves all questions answered without inspiring any new ones. Navigation should be obvious and simple, all required information should be provided, and nothing should come between the visitor and the conversion (aka no pop ups!) If at all possible, visitors should be able to convert in one click. Let every additional click weigh on your conscience like a heart beating beneath a floorboard.

“Andrew Chen’s site is minimalist in nature; he knows the focus of the site is on content, social proof, and of course to get people to sign up for his newsletter which is the main conversion goal. However, the layout is not making use of the real estate above the fold as it should be. Elements like narrow text margin, a lack of vertical alignment, unclear

’s, and misuse of whitespace can harm conversion rates if used incorrectly.”
Steps in Sales Funnel – This lays out for you, point-by-point, each page and step the customer goes through on their way to making a purchase. In some cases, it also works to point out some of the follow-up steps and “if-then” scenarios. For instance, how does the funnel respond “intelligently” to get prospects who didn’t buy to come back to the website?
