Have a clear call to action. Call to actions can be present in the headline text as well as the button text (example: “submit” vs. “download your free marketing guide”). There should be no question as to what next steps are necessary – tell your visitors exactly what you want them to do in big, bold text. For Kajabi, changing their button text from “See Plans and Pricing” to “Get Started Today” increased conversions by 252%!
Cons: I'm on the Etison Suite because I like the simplicity of using Actionetics as my email client. Yes, it is an expensive cost each month but the platform and process was created by one of the best marketers and online salespersons out there. It's ably supported by a great community of entrepreneurs all using (or trying to use) the software to get their business to the next level.
Cons: The customer support has gotten worse recently. They used to have live chat on their site, now they use some weird ticketing software that I do not like. I will say this, there support is very good but a lot slower than I'd like. When they do get back to me, it typically solved my problem immediately. But sometimes it takes a full day or more for them to respond. This can be valuable lost time for a business, especially if you're running ads to a page that stops working.
That small PDF symbol over the feature image helps set expectations for what format the download will be in. The arrow in front of the subheadline helps further direct your attention to important copy they want visitors to read. Like IMPACT, they also have an auto-checked box to subscribe to their newsletter on their form -- which, if turned into an opt-in check box, is a great way to increase subscribers. All of these small, seemingly insignificant details help bring together a solid, admirable landing page design.
Funnel Hacks System will give you all the benefits discussed above for just $997. This is a steal of the value if you only think about only the cost for the ClickFunnels Etison Suite which will set you back $1782 if you decide to acquire merely the ClickFunnels suite. Nevertheless, if you choose to register to the Funnel Hacks System, you will get access to the Etison Suite and also to a whole lot of training not just for funnel building, however even for sales marketing and sales.
You can configure the lead scoring rules to match your ideal buyer persona by simply adding or subtracting points for the lead property. For example, if your business is purely local, then for a lead to become your customer the minimum criteria is to be within your service area. Add 20 points. If the lead doesn’t belong to an industry you serve, subtract 10 points. In addition to that, you can also customize scores for email, application and web activity. Bring everything together, and you have a list of hot, warm and cold leads in the sales funnel for your sales reps to focus and close more deals faster.
In the previous section, I listed the 5 steps of nurturing your prospects. The ultimate goal of that process is to create Lifetime Customers. As you can imagine, those lifetime customers will be major contributors to the long-term growth of your business. This is where a lot of businesses fail. It’s a lot easier to sell lots of your best products and/or services to a small group of raving fans than it is to sell just one item to masses of new customers.
Coming in at $9770 when you purchase the full version, Funnel Hacks and ClickFunnels quickly recoup that money and “pay for themselves” in no time. At its core, Funnel Hacks is designed to walk you through the entire funnel building process, showing you how to make successful high-converting funnels for a range of marketing purposes which cover various niches, business models, and industries. Funnel Hacks not only trains you in ClickFunnels, it provides you with full access to the ClickFunnels Etison suite too.
As your sales reps qualify leads and identify opportunities, they’ll create an opportunity, aka deal in the CRM. Sales managers want to know the value of each deal and total deals by stage to prioritize the team’s efforts on high-value deals. In addition to this data being available in the CRM’s visual sales pipeline, you can also create detailed reports to further analyze deals, and add them to a dashboard to actively monitor their progress.

“Some curated content from previous newsletters or a more substantial piece of content would help cement the relationship from the reader who hasn’t actually had any benefit from Jimmy yet.  There’s a free email course linked in the menu which would be a good start, or other ideas would be to get readers to consume content from you in other channels.
Cons: The advance funnels are not easy & make you work to understand the concept & how to implement it for your business. So you will have to spend quite some time to understand how to make advanced funnels work for you. Seems archaic with its interface & editor while compared to other competitors. A limited number of templates is a handicap at times. Integration is straightforward, but tracking can be tricky on the dashboard & you always feel there is double counting - as it clearly doesn't show who bought at which stage.
Full disclosure: IMPACT is a HubSpot partner -- but that's not why they're included here. IMPACT's landing pages have long been a source of design inspiration. I love the simple layout of the page, from the large headline copy and detailed featured image, to the outline that surrounds the form, to the colors and fonts that are very pleasing to the eye.

I'm not sure how the algorithm works (or if there's one at all), but while I was filling it out, I had some anxiety about not qualifying. Once I found out I did, I was excited to fill out the form, which I'm sure most people who are in debt and using this tool are. By making this offer seem more exclusive before the form appeared on the landing page, I'd bet that Bills.com increased conversions pretty significantly.
“Unfortunately, it then leads into a long, text heavy section all about the founder, with no value to the reader, and then flows into a very long list of goals and milestones, very few of which provide any value to the reader. There are a few good social proof pieces, but most of them are simply ‘me me me’. It reads more like a CV or an investor deck than a landing page for prospects.
Here’s an example. To create your prospect experience in the Awareness stage, think about and articulate what you will do or say to your prospects when you first meet them. Then think about how your interaction will make them feel. Consider your prospects and their needs as you’re doing this. Then, document your actions and your prospect’s experience for this stage. Repeat this throughout the entire sales funnel.
Pros: I have 10 different companies that I manage. I use click funnel pages for everything. I can create a landing page for a Facebook ad, Instagram ad, YouTube and any promotion I need! Their platform is very user friendly. You can create something super simple or create an expert page. They integrate with many other platforms. I can add paypal and aweber to my click funnel pages. Support is awesome!
There are popular and widely used systems in each software group. But are they automatically the best fit for your enterprise’s specific needs? A market-leading software application may have thousands of subscribers, but does it offer what you require? For this reason, do not blindly shell out for popular systems. Read at least a few ClickFunnels reviews and consider the aspects that you wish to have in the software such as the fees, main tools, available integrations etc. Then, select a few systems that fit your wants. Check out the free trials of these platforms, read online opinions, get clarifications from the maker, and do your research thoroughly. Hello – at first looking at the Imbound plugins for landing pages – call-to-action -and Imbound forms- I thought “what a great system plugin for WordPress. However – after creating a landing page and then tring to utilize the call to action by placing the shortcode in the landing page – it does not show up.These are the most important function of them all! So then I created an Imbound form instead for Email and although it seems to work – I find out later when testing it does not send out any email when tested. I wondered why I did not get any responses – not even one! Not to my notification email or to the one who subscribes. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and advertised the landing page, and now I do not know whether I have gotten any responses or not. I tried to get support earlier on when attempting to use these plugins because the help videos just disappeared after navigating away one time. I cannot find any directions or videos – nor can I get any support response. So it seems to be a good idea gone bad to me. Mistakes and malfunctions can and do happen with a lot of plugins, but the worst thing in the world is not getting any support what-so-ever! So I suppose there is not a lot of “going Premium” with these plugins.
Cons: My dislikes are more nit picky than complaints; setup of URLs can involve 2 separate screens, which makes it a little confusing at first. It is template driven and some of these are very Internet Marketing centric, so the look and style may not be a fit, but of course you can adapt and make these your own. A broader selection of templates will help, but they do have a community of developers adding to it daily, so this is likely a short term problem.

I am currently using LeadPages and was thinking of moving to Clickfunnels after my 14 day trial (depending on how it goes). It gets a bit annoying doing the integrations sometimes, especially that you have to always remember to connect the flow for things to work. That’s why so far I really appreciate the all-in-one feature that ClickFunnels have. I am also planning to sell my own products in the nearest future and really appreciate you letting us know about how to save $$$ by using ‘Funnel Hacks’

The Discovery stage is where your prospect’s interest is piqued. They are curious about your company and products and want to learn more. In this stage, you are sharing valuable educational content related to your prospect’s problem or need. This stage occurs while you are qualifying your prospect, conducting initial meetings, and defining their needs.

One important warning: Let’s not forget that you are in business. And as a business owner you have something of value to offer your customers in exchange for their cash. That’s a fair and equitable relationship. So please don’t take my nurturing metaphor too far here. Your goal isn’t simply to placate your list — your goal is to build a profitable business that provides VALUE in exchange for VALUE.
The truth? People are smart. They're not simply going to buy anything from anyone unless they feel there's an immense amount of value to be had there. Thus, your funnel needs to built that value and bake it in through a variety of means. But most importantly, you have to create a strong bond with your prospect, and that happens by being relatable, honest and transparent in your email warming sequence.

On functionality, it was a dead heat. I sent an equal amount of paid traffic to each funnel and they both produced many leads. Not an equal amount of leads. But, there are so many variables at play that I cannot say the software was the deciding factor. In the end, this was a fun experiment that fixed my funnel problem and I learned a lot in the process.
Hello Sunil.. thank you for your feedback, it’s great to hear that you are finding this article useful. Re your question: yes, it makes sense to follow-up as often as you need to to reach the decision-maker. At the early stage of cold calling / emailing / SMS you may have to follow-up 6-12 times with a combination of cold calls and cold emails before you get to kick-started with your prospective customer. Obviously if they unsubscribe or say no then you have to respect this. At later stages, non-response would indicate that your prospective customer no longer sees (or has doubts) about the potential value of the solution you are selling. After following-up 2 times at a later stage, I would make it easy for your prospect to voice their concerns by communicating something like: “I’m struggling to reach you, perhaps we could hop on a call for 5 minutes as I’d like to understand your current thoughts rather than assume you are no longer interested in progressing.”

In particular, if someone makes it through to the end of your landing page, you have a final opportunity to convince them to convert (incidentally, this is a good place for another CTA). With your closing argument/reinforcing statement, you should summarize everything you covered in the rest of your landing page and then throw in any additional selling points you think might seal the deal.

After linking the pages together, my funnel was ready to go. It took about two days to complete this funnel compared to a couple of hours on ClickFunnels. I am also worried about the security of my pages. I’m protecting these pages from search engine spiders. But, could someone with technical skill still uncover them? With ClickFunnels, I am more confident in the security of these pages.
Unique visitors instead of total visits — If you're counting every visit in the denominator of the equation, you're including return visits too. This doesn't make sense if someone can only convert once (e.g. signup for an account). Consider how they might check out the site a few times before converting. If so, don't let that deflate your conversion metric. Instead, count the unique number of visitors in any given period. And make your period at least as long as the average time it takes for someone to convert after first visiting your site.

“1. Use a sticky navigation bar: A ‘sticky’ navigation bar can help people explore ‘Edgar’ in a comfortable and controlled manner. People like to explore websites without them feeling that they are losing control. Even if they never use the navigation bar, it can still have a positive impact on the overall experience. Not having control can potentially trigger a feeling of stress which can cause people to leave the site and therefore increase bounce rates. (Think of the analogy of a GPS in your car)
This means that you can recognize a LeadPage (Landing Page) from a mile away and when people (the normal non-internet marketers) start noticing the similarity between all these page designs it’ll be more obvious that people are trying to squeeze a lead out of them. Having said that, I’m confident the crew at LeadPages will be smart enough to adapt and start churning out more high-quality pages more often to give their users more variety.
I'm going to show you some examples of just really kind of the fire power that ClickFunnels brings to the table. What you're seeing here is literally the inside of my ClickFunnels account and just real fast, I want to just scroll down and let you see the kind of activity that I create inside my ClickFunnels account. These are all active or semi-active funnels that I use on a weekly basis for my business. You might be wondering, "Well, Josh, what do you do for business?" And I do a few things. I have a few streams of revenue, if you will, businesses. One would be SalesFunnelMadness.com, which is right here. I talk about ClickFunnels, I talk about building sales funnels and I help people build their sales funnels.
This is the stage where growth hacking, not to be confused with funnel hacking, comes into play. The purpose of the refinement or growth hacking stage is to analyze funnel results at each impression point to determine where you're losing customers. You will find customers dropping off at multiple points. Recognize the most critical points, prioritize and attack there first. Make changes and move forward, continuing to observe and accept that this stage has no end game. The quest for improved conversions requires continual analysis, refinement and experimentation.
To better understand the concept of a sales funnel and just how you can implement it in your own business, let's look at the following image from Shutterstock. On the left side of the image, you see a magnet. That magnet is attracting customers, which happens a number of ways. From blogging to social media to paid ads and everything in between, how the visitors arrive to your website has some impact on the success of your funnel.
