Above are some of the most popular Leadpages templates on the web. To be honest, I love these and also love how they are constantly adding new designs to their portfolio. It's exactly why I've been a customer for a long time. You can even sort them by conversion rate, which gives you a little more piece of mind when you are facing decision fatigue already as a marketer.
Sales funnels are important so that you stay focused on carrying out the right sales activities at the right time in the prospect relationship. If you’re in the Awareness phase, you are engaging in prospecting or lead generation activities. If you’re in the Evaluation phase, you are sending your customers quotes or proposals so they can evaluate their options and ultimately make a purchase. Sales funnels serve as reminders of what needs to be done and when.
The header must be fully descriptive of what you're selling. Because, if the visitor doesn't understand exactly what you do immediately upon landing, they'll either bounce out of laziness or skim-read the rest of the page until they get the gist. Once they get that gist, they'll likely bounce anyway because they're still too lazy to re-read the page from the beginning.
When a prospect converts on your first page, they can be segmented and directed to targeted pages to further drive them through your sales channel. They work because, well, contrary to what some inbound marketers believe - not every customer is ready and willing to buy from you or register for your event immediately after they’ve clicked on your PPC or social ad.
You also have your email integration for your email service provider of choice. That's where all of this lives. For instance, I can choose my MailChimp account here or my Actionetics account, again, that's part of the Etison Suite that I was mentioning. I have the Etison Suite for everything that I do. And then the way the screen or the pages are constructed are in three or four, technically, but really three different ways. You've got sections, which, if you see my mouse hovering here, you can see the light, see phone green, these are the sections. Then you have rows, which are the blue that you see here, and you've got elements inside of rows and they're the orange elements.
Netflix changes its background image based on what movies and shows are being promoted. Their site is very simple. There’s a risk reversal right off the bat. You can cancel any time and not be locked into anything. You can try it free for a month. They’re not saying, “Hey, this is movies streaming online.” They’re relying on the power of their brand.

Leadpages provides HTML5 templates for contact pages, webinar pages, sales lead and other types of landing pages that customers use to improve leads and get better conversions. The service runs on Google App Engine and uses technology such as Big Table to analyze the landing page data. Unlike competitors that use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), Leadpages does not have to translate into HTML. Instead the HTML pages are already made, which allows for the data to be decoupled and analyzed in the Google cloud stack. The pages are optimized for any mobile device.

What are landing pages? A landing page is the page a visitor arrives at on your website after clicking an ad (for example, a Google text ad or display ad). Inexperienced marketers often direct all of their PPC traffic to their homepage, but this can be a big mistake. Specific landing pages tailored to different offers are essential for providing a quality experience for visitors and driving conversions with a targeted message that matches each user’s need.


A/B testing, or A/B split testing, is a method for testing two versions of a webpage: version "A" and version "B". The goal is to test multiple versions of webpages (e.g., home page vs. product page) or one specific element that changes between variation A and variation B (such as having a lead form on the left hand side or having it placed on the right hand side), FAQ to determine which version is most appealing/effective. This testing method may also be known as A/B/n split testing; the n denoting more than 2 tests being measured and compared. The data for A/B testing is usually measured via click-through rate or an alternative conversion tracking method.[11]
As you can see, the layout is here on the right hand side, you can see the control panel or the toolbar, and all of these things, obviously, have everything to do with what's on the page here. Once you're on the page you have the settings menu, it's going to be a lot of stuff here. You don't always have to just go through these things one thing at a time, a lot of times these are going to be already preset the way you like them, but the meta tags in the social settings you always want to update. So that, for instance the social image is when you copy and paste a URL into a social media platform like Facebook and that's how picture shows up sometimes. Well, that's where that picture comes from. Then of course, up here where it says 'start here', you can see that that's what's here as well.

I have no alternative but to uninstall the plugins and go with another unless the developer “sees the light” and decides to create some simple directions and figure out how to keep the help videos on the dashboard page. The developer would have seen a much larger response to selling premium if the free versions atleast worked or just answer support. I see this alot when dealing with wordpress developers and I could never figure out why!
Once the prospect is in the proverbial funnel, you've peaked their awareness. That's the first stage of the funnel. However, getting a prospect aware of you is no simple feat. Depending upon how they've arrived to your website (organically or through a paid ad), those customers might view your funnel differently and your opt-in rates will vary significantly. 
Unique visitors instead of total visits — If you're counting every visit in the denominator of the equation, you're including return visits too. This doesn't make sense if someone can only convert once (e.g. signup for an account). Consider how they might check out the site a few times before converting. If so, don't let that deflate your conversion metric. Instead, count the unique number of visitors in any given period. And make your period at least as long as the average time it takes for someone to convert after first visiting your site.
Depending on what you’re selling and who you’re marketing to, you might answer that question in a number of different ways. For example, if bug-free software is a big deal to your potential customers, you may want to focus on how fine-tuned your software is. You might want to include a section about your support team, how many users you have, how you handle errors…you get the idea.

You can also see how they’re becoming an essential tool for just about any business’ online marketing success. They’re created directly on your own website. You can gain sales, generate leads and nurture your prospects through one landing page campaign.

Re-target website visitors who don't convert the first time. You won't be able to capture lead information for all of your website visitors, but that doesn't mean you should give up on the visitors who don't convert. Consider running a retargeting campaign so you can display advertisements on popular websites which will display only to people who visited your website. This will give you another chance to draw them back in.

Hello! Great article! I sell organic food products that we have been manufacturing in Maine for 14 years. Our internet business has always done great, but could be phenomenal. I’m new to building funnels, buying ads and marketing them. Would you suggest SamCart or CF for the type of product I offer? Also, I would imagine that once a sales funnel is in place, ads would still need to be made in order to promote them? And if so, do any of the above platforms offer this type of support? Thank you 🙂
Once you choose your opt-in template then you're ready to customize, which is what I've done over here with my client's opt-in funnel. The other thing that you do, and if you've learned anything about marketing online or any kind of marketing for that matter, is A/B split testing, is very important so that you can know what works and what doesn't and you can make your campaigns better and better, smarter and smarter and more and more effective. So, there's a little preview window and once you've run enough traffic to these A and B variance then you can actually declare a winner, and then allow that to be your control or your control variant. To edit these pages you simply click on at page and it takes you into the page editor or the webpage editor.
My research into funnels and recent experience with ClickFunnels gave me some clues. I needed five pages for my WordPress funnel. Opt-in, confirmation, thank you, quote request, and download. The first issue I ran into was that WordPress pages contain a sidebar on the right by default. Now all of this landing page theory is nice, but reading about landing page design and actually designing an effective landing page are two very different things. If you want to create landing pages for your marketing campaigns, you have two basic options: 1) build the pages directly on your site or 2) create the landing pages using a landing page tool.
