That really depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want a basic site, you could upload a theme, or use your hosting company’s theme builder and get online but that doesn’t mean you’ll get what you want necessarily. WordPress itself is a basic, open-sourced software tool that really does nothing. It will take a bit of know-how and expertise to learn how to use, but if you are above-average tech savvy (or learn things quickly), you can figure out how to get online.
We can’t stress this enough—the biggest challenge for a sales rep is to be able to identify qualified sales leads. Experienced sales reps probably know how to qualify their leads over time, and therefore effectively work on the right opportunities. But for the rest of them, this is still a burning issue. The struggle to pick out qualified leads in the funnel forces sales reps to chase them all. The result—getting nowhere.
Cons: They offer several paid levels but honestly, the paid or Free plan offer a limited package and all of them will funnel you to the main plan. . Now this is just for your funnel builder and not your hosting or CRM. For half the amount I can outsource and build landing funnels that I own. The main focus of this is for small business and solopreneurs. . Now it is if you can put the software to use and turn sales. But if you are just starting out this will kill the cash flow. Additionally. I found that a lot of creativity and design are needed. So be prepared that to make this work it takes time. I found it to be very time consuming and not the 5 minutes they claim.
Thanks Matt, the client attraction stage is the big thing. With relatively low client numbers I’m able nurture and provide relevant & specific information. I look arrange phone or in person meetings. So attracting clients who can identify with a specific or range of personal (to them) challenges which I’m able to demonstrate I can solve is perhaps the primary focus for me at the prospect acquisition point. I hope that makes sense:)
Here’s an example. To create your prospect experience in the Awareness stage, think about and articulate what you will do or say to your prospects when you first meet them. Then think about how your interaction will make them feel. Consider your prospects and their needs as you’re doing this. Then, document your actions and your prospect’s experience for this stage. Repeat this throughout the entire sales funnel.
Hello! Great article! I sell organic food products that we have been manufacturing in Maine for 14 years. Our internet business has always done great, but could be phenomenal. I’m new to building funnels, buying ads and marketing them. Would you suggest SamCart or CF for the type of product I offer? Also, I would imagine that once a sales funnel is in place, ads would still need to be made in order to promote them? And if so, do any of the above platforms offer this type of support? Thank you 🙂
Make it easy to convert. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for visitors to convert, providing as little distance and as few barriers as possible between points A and B. The next step should always be obvious. This strategy varies depending on what your desired conversion is. If it’s form submissions, make that form a piece of irresistible eye candy. If it’s downloads, make a button that is begging to be clicked.

So, I was happy to take her under contract and put something together for her. As you can see, this right here is inside of what we call an opt-in funnel. The way you create an opt-in funnel, if you're wondering, is this easy button right here. With one click you get an option, what's your goal, collect email, sell a product, host a webinar. I also have some unbelievable webinar funnels that maybe I can ... If I have time I'll show you later in this video, but real quick, when you choose collect emails you're obviously going to name it, and grouping and tagging is very important, I will do that with this one.
They even run a program to win your dream car. All you have to do is get 100 new people to sign up for ClickFunnels, and they’ll cover the monthly payment on a new car of your choice. Hi Terence, first off I would like to say that an interesting and thorough review. The fact that you go into so much detail about Funnel hacks, both the pro’s and the con’s really makes me believe in it and you. It sounds like something I will definitely consider as soon as I get my own product to sell (which I am still working on at the minute). And if it works then it’s worth every penny I say.
Pros: Funnels involve many moving parts, pages, and pieces. Having designed these for years myself, I expected Clickfunnels to be another newbie tool, but it's so so much more. You can easily set up funnels for specific markets, tying them together and tracking in a way that's visual (not Kanban, but close) and easy to understand. Instead of complex interfaces, you have an easy step by step way to get things going quickly. As an experienced user, I was impressed by the value this delivers for people regardless of skill set. There's so many smart elements - for example, preview your page and it shows you the version regardless of cache, so you're not stuck emptying your browser. Few years ago this would have cost you thousands to set up individually, and left you needing tech assistance. Clickfunnels eliminates that and makes it so even a beginner can use this tool.
The Etison Suite features are same as basic plus: One time payments, Manage email lists, Subscripition plans, Send broadcast emails, Social contact profiles, Track opens and clicks, Lead scoring, Auto responder series, Action funnels, Location based emails, Social media based emails, Flexible & advance segmentation, Action scores, Visual email builder, Complete customization, Billing integrations.
Closed-ended experimentation. Consumers are exposed to several variations of landing pages, altering elements like headlines, formatting and layout while their behavior is observed in an attempt to remove distractions that will take the lead away from the page, including the primary navigation. At the conclusion of the experiment, an optimal page is selected based on the outcome of the experiment.
Unique visitors instead of total visits — If you're counting every visit in the denominator of the equation, you're including return visits too. This doesn't make sense if someone can only convert once (e.g. signup for an account). Consider how they might check out the site a few times before converting. If so, don't let that deflate your conversion metric. Instead, count the unique number of visitors in any given period. And make your period at least as long as the average time it takes for someone to convert after first visiting your site.
“Andrew Chen’s site is minimalist in nature; he knows the focus of the site is on content, social proof, and of course to get people to sign up for his newsletter which is the main conversion goal. However, the layout is not making use of the real estate above the fold as it should be. Elements like narrow text margin, a lack of vertical alignment, unclear
’s, and misuse of whitespace can harm conversion rates if used incorrectly.”
As your sales reps qualify leads and identify opportunities, they’ll create an opportunity, aka deal in the CRM. Sales managers want to know the value of each deal and total deals by stage to prioritize the team’s efforts on high-value deals. In addition to this data being available in the CRM’s visual sales pipeline, you can also create detailed reports to further analyze deals, and add them to a dashboard to actively monitor their progress.
Chris, thank you so very much for that. I am new to all of this and feel so overwhelmed in trying to figure out what system to use and how to put it all together. I have written 3 ebooks and have a course to go with one. One is a free give-away. I didn’t know where to start, but wanted to just do the free give-away in exchange for the emails. Later on, I thought I’d offer the course that goes with that book. What do you recommend? Do you think I should just stick with Leadpages and collect the emails and then when I’m ready to offer the course, use ClickFunnels? Can the names collected in LeadPages be integrated into ClickFunnels? I’m still trying to work this all out. Thanks for any help/guidance you can give.
