Click Funnels has a basic email auto-responder in place. So, let’s say someone signed up for a webinar, it can do email sequences and some cool smart triggering so that if someone leaves early, they’ll get a different email sequence and things like that. If you want to do broadcasts and things like that, however, you will need an auto-responder. Russell recommends AWeber or GetResponse. That’s the only tool you should need on top of Click Funnels.

However, getting to this stage is no simple feat. It takes an enormous amount of work and effort plus tracking. Copy needs to be written, tracking pixels need to be installed and email sequences need to be created. But that's what it takes to succeed.

Hello Mark, I absolutely loved this article. It’s very thorough. I wanted to ask in Step 3 that is “Defining the Criteria for Each Stage” in each sub-step if the customer is not responding to sales call we are sending them back to the previous sub-step. In between each sub-step, can we put one more stage where we are approaching the customer one more time through Email or SMS where in we give them a last chance to move forward and if they don’t reply to it, then we put them back in the previous sub-step?

To do that, however, you need to know exactly what you want them to do and why they might not want to do it. Then, throughout your landing page, you address their concerns and sell them on the value of what they get in exchange for converting.
Overall: Easy setup and management of funnels, with options to integrate your entire site in there if you want to. Cool tools that allow you to manage the flow without typing in URLs, as it goes to the next step in the funnel. Decent reporting and analytics built in, and obviously integrates with analytics tools as well. The biggest benefit here is speed to execute, as everything is laid out for you, with sample funnels as well, to give you an initial idea of flow. You could seriously run an entire business on here, and it's good for selling as well as lead generation.

Pros: ClickFunnels has a broader scope compared to LeadPages (which is brilliant for lead generation) and it's easier to add upsells and downsells. One of the best things about ClickFunnels is that you can navigate it and create sales funnels with no coding required - no need for HTML, CSS or technical savvy knowledge. THere's a multitude of free templates and paid templates for a professional design even if you don't have any design skills; the drag-and-drop editor stands out.

Cons: There are some bugs in the software which can make the process of building out a page a bit annoying. For our use case uploading images can be bugged at times, and the membership site part of the process was a bit confusing with saving and naming pages and urls, but overall this is a great tool that does what we needed in empowering our team to do more without needing to learn the nuances of html and css.
If you try to opt-in with the same information to get another video, they ask you to sign up again. I believe that is their process. Like I said, that creates some friction. Yes, you can enter a fake email, but, if you believe in the quality of the content (and it is really good content; Andrew is one of the best interviewers on the Internet), you won’t.
