Overall: This software is a nice one-stop to create positive outcomes from (and for) visitors to our website. Before we tried ClickFunnels we were putting a lot of stress (i.e. asking a lot of) on our IT and web developer because every time we wanted to start a campaign we asked him to create a funnel using multiple software applications. With this software, it eliminates the need to bog down our web department as ClickFunnels allows one user to create, manage, and monitor a website funnel.
It’s easily integrated with a custom domain, so you can set up your landing pages, membership site and/or sales funnels on your own website, or a custom domain. It has a plugin that allows you to integrate it with WordPress as well, although you can’t take payments on your own WordPress site if you charge your customers for services, as they have their own set of SSL requirements when taking payments. You can also start your funnel on your website, and host the next steps of the funnel where payments are taken on the default platform for ClickFunnels.
Of course, some of you are makers and originators and you really want to build your own thing and that's totally fine. I would just say, make sure you adhere to direct response principles and philosophies when it comes to creating your funnels, that is something that's super easy, but the best way, as Russell Bronson of ClickFunnels, he's the founder of ClickFunnels and DotComSecrets. He's a big proponent of what we call funnel hacking. Funnel hacking is something also that I've written about on my blog. As a matter of fact, I'm hoping this link works. Yeah. GroovyMarketing.biz/funnelhacking. I've created a funnel hacking playbook.
Principle of commitment & consistency -- When people commit to something, they're far more likely to purchase from you. That's why getting them to agree to something like a free + shipping offer or by agreeing with something you've said in some way. This is a powerful principle in sales and if you pay attention to some of the best marketers in the world, you'll notice that they work fervently to get your commitment to something, even if it's very small in the beginning.
If I was just starting out I would recommend starting with LeadPages so you have pre-made designs which are less customizable so you can get your head around what’s going on. But if you’ve had a bit of experience or are in the more advanced level, then I think getting a mid ranged ClickFunnels plan would be more appropriate. Either way, I don’t think you should cancel one account before the other, until you have had some time to play around and try them both out.
Testing can be conducted sequentially or in parallel. In sequential testing, often the easiest to implement, the various versions of the webpages are made available online for a specified time period. In parallel (split) testing, both versions are made available, and the traffic is divided between the two. The results of sequential split testing can be skewed by differing time periods and traffic patterns in which the different tests are run.
I am currently using LeadPages and was thinking of moving to Clickfunnels after my 14 day trial (depending on how it goes). It gets a bit annoying doing the integrations sometimes, especially that you have to always remember to connect the flow for things to work. That’s why so far I really appreciate the all-in-one feature that ClickFunnels have. I am also planning to sell my own products in the nearest future and really appreciate you letting us know about how to save $$$ by using ‘Funnel Hacks’
Cons: The biggest issue for me is that all the work that is done on the Clickfunnels platform is at risk if they ever change their terms of service. I'm not saying that they ever would, but if company is ever sold, I could see a new owner possibly changing the fee structure or something like that. I've been stung before, so I believe this is a con compared to having your funnels in Wordpress. The other main con is the pricing. It's not cheap compared to similar functionality on Wordpress using a good quality theme.
Corporations and businesses are all looking for organic growth, to increase market share, effectively deal with low price competitors, increase closing averages, and retain top talent (SAP study shows that cost of losing your top sales person is 700K).  The key is to do all this within a process that can be repeated and held accountable from the any position of the sales organization.  The Sales Funnel can help you achieve these goals.  Click here to learn more…
After linking the pages together, my funnel was ready to go. It took about two days to complete this funnel compared to a couple of hours on ClickFunnels. I am also worried about the security of my pages. I’m protecting these pages from search engine spiders. But, could someone with technical skill still uncover them? With ClickFunnels, I am more confident in the security of these pages.
Cons: Despite the promised functionality, Backpack and Actionetics are highly limited. In 2-3 years, the functionality may be unparalleled, but at the moment the little bugs make it an extremely frustrating process. I can't find a good reason to pay the additional money when there are alternatives like Mailchimp for a far better CRM and other decent affiliate solutions out there.
The penultimate stage of the sales process is working out the fine details and establishing a commitment to the deal. Once the lead is ready to make a purchase, sales reps present proposal, terms of contract, and other agreements to successfully win their business. The outcome of the opportunity may sway either way— win or loss—depending on the prospect’s interests at this stage. Although sales reps set the table for success, when it comes to closing—win rates are quite unpredictable.

Connecting with prospects at the moment they express interest increases your chances of conversion. Set up this Leadpages-Gmail integration, and we'll take care of everything: It will automatically send an email from your Gmail account to the recipients of your choice whenever a new form submission is received on Leadpages, reaching out with a customized message even while you're busy with other tasks.
Depending on what you’re selling and who you’re marketing to, you might answer that question in a number of different ways. For example, if bug-free software is a big deal to your potential customers, you may want to focus on how fine-tuned your software is. You might want to include a section about your support team, how many users you have, how you handle errors…you get the idea.
People not in your market — Learn how appealing and comprehensible your copy is to those who aren't familiar with your market or product. Do you give them enough context to want to know more? This will help cover the common problem where your site over-assumes base-level knowledge on behalf of your audience. This is important because there may be a lot of people on the edge of your market who'd become customers if they merely better understood why they should be.

Once the prospect is in the proverbial funnel, you've peaked their awareness. That's the first stage of the funnel. However, getting a prospect aware of you is no simple feat. Depending upon how they've arrived to your website (organically or through a paid ad), those customers might view your funnel differently and your opt-in rates will vary significantly.
To be honest, I haven’t really explored LeadPages’ sales page templates a whole lot because I tend to design them myself in WordPress. However, when I created my free Pinterest e-book, I decided to create a sales page-esque landing page, which gave more information about the freebie, much like a sales page would. I also used one of LeadPages’ sales page templates to design it.
Cons: My dislikes are more nit picky than complaints; setup of URLs can involve 2 separate screens, which makes it a little confusing at first. It is template driven and some of these are very Internet Marketing centric, so the look and style may not be a fit, but of course you can adapt and make these your own. A broader selection of templates will help, but they do have a community of developers adding to it daily, so this is likely a short term problem.
Within traffic sources, there’s also the return path. Put simply, these are the methods you use to draw customers back into the funnel once they have fallen out, so that you have a second chance at influencing their buying decision. These return paths act somewhat like a follow-up, but in a less direct manner: they remind website visitors that you have a great product/ discount/ free trial/ etc.

Wonder which option is best if I currently have only one product selling on Amazon (only, no e-comm on my own site)? I can see how Clickfunnels may be superior for up-selling, and “subscription” type sales, but if my product is one that perhaps my customer would by a few of for their own use and/or gifts, it strikes me that many of the advanced functions of Clickfunnels would be “wasted” on my current model. Appreciate any feedback on this.
Businesses built around one or two customers that aren’t looking expand should focus on building out the loyalty phase of the sales funnel. However, a CRM is best for managing the customer’s journey for businesses that want to create the best possible experience during each stage of the process in order to increase your number of sales, as they provide tools to help you automate and scale your sales funnel activities.
Believe it or not, this works and everyday I see new subscribers sharing my opt-in form. Imagine if 10 people subscribed and you didn’t have a page like this. Well…then 10 people would have subscribed and that would be the end of that. BUT…if you have a viral sharing page, like the one above, then those 10 people could very well share it with all of their followers, resulting in more and more subscribers to your list. It’s pretty rad, y’all.
This was very informative. Thank you. I actually own an insurance business which specifically focuses on health insurance. Normally, we generate our leads from referrals and lead generation companies but it seems like we are making these lead generation companies rich for what often turns out to be poor quality leads. Do you know of instances where click funnels and lead pages have been used for marketing and selling insurance products? It seems that based on what I am reading it’s really geared more towards a tangible product or service. What are your thoughts? Thank you again!

3. Who is my audience? And what are their hopes, dreams, and aspirations? As silly as that sounds, it’s true to some degree – the better you understand your audience, the more you can cater to their wants and needs. Unless you know who your ideal customers are, it will be very difficult to write persuasive copy in the voice of the customer. So get in your audience’s head, Hannibal Lecter-style.

Before I go much further, it's important to note that we are comparing two similar solutions, but by no means are they exact matches. However, there are plenty of overlaps that can confuse a good buying  decision. That’s why I’ve spent so much time and effort on this Clickfunnels Review. I want my readers and audience to get an exhaustive look on the sales funnel tools of choice and how they can best benefit.
In online marketing, a landing page, sometimes known as a "lead capture page", "static page" or a "lander", or a "destination page", is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on a search engine optimized search result or an online advertisement.[1] The landing page will usually display directed sales copy that is a logical extension of the advertisement, search result or link. Landing pages are used for lead generation. The actions that a visitor takes on a landing page is what determines an advertiser's conversion rate.[2]
“Andrew Chen’s site is minimalist in nature; he knows the focus of the site is on content, social proof, and of course to get people to sign up for his newsletter which is the main conversion goal. However, the layout is not making use of the real estate above the fold as it should be. Elements like narrow text margin, a lack of vertical alignment, unclear

’s, and misuse of whitespace can harm conversion rates if used incorrectly.”

They even run a program to win your dream car. All you have to do is get 100 new people to sign up for ClickFunnels, and they’ll cover the monthly payment on a new car of your choice. So once you’ve signed up for ClickFunnels, played around with it a bit, and fallen in love with your awesome new funnels, consider promoting it to your list or blog for a bit of extra cash (and maybe even a brand new car!). Inside of each of these you can quite literally edit everything. I can double click here, I can bold, I can unbold, all that good stuff. You can open the gearshift or the gear mechanism icon and over here you can do all your editing, you can choose fonts, you can choose sizes, spacing. You can do everything. The flexibility offered by ClickFunnels is unmatched. Then you can hit preview and then in your preview screen you can see your live page. You'll know, if you do sign up for ClickFunnels under my affiliate link, this is my email address for unlimited support and also that's how you can access the bonuses that are provide, just by simply emailing me and saying, "Hey buddy, give me the bonuses you promised me." And then I will email those back to you. I've got a special members area that, again, I've built inside of ClickFunnels because you can build membership funnels, membership platforms, inside of ClickFunnels. It's really awesome and very powerful as well.
What I love most about the ClickFunnels software, is the drag and drop functionality. If you have any type of internet marketing experience, it’s much easier than using WordPress natively and you literally build the page as you are looking at it. No more “save it” and hit “preview” to see how it looks. WordPress is still what you should be using for content based websites, but ClickFunnels can make a powerful ally if you intend on selling membership programs or products to your customers that visit your website. The customization options are pretty much limitless when building out a proper marketing funnel.
Cons: The advance funnels are not easy & make you work to understand the concept & how to implement it for your business. So you will have to spend quite some time to understand how to make advanced funnels work for you. Seems archaic with its interface & editor while compared to other competitors. A limited number of templates is a handicap at times. Integration is straightforward, but tracking can be tricky on the dashboard & you always feel there is double counting - as it clearly doesn't show who bought at which stage.
Their homepage has an interesting graphic. It’s the first step of the sales funnel. A branding line similar to Mint.com’s, MailChimp’s slogan Being yourself makes all the difference really has nothing to do with the tool. That might be a good thing. It’s aspirational marketing not unlike Grasshopper above. It’s about identity, freedom, and self-expression — ideas that are bigger than a product.
