As you can see, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Some of the cons are pretty nitpicky, including the URLs being messy, but that’s more of a personal preference than anything. I know there are lots of other landing page builders that people will use, including Thrive Architect by Thrive Themes. For me, I’ve found the funnel step integration to be some of the easiest funnel software to design though.
In the previous section, I listed the 5 steps of nurturing your prospects. The ultimate goal of that process is to create Lifetime Customers. As you can imagine, those lifetime customers will be major contributors to the long-term growth of your business. This is where a lot of businesses fail. It’s a lot easier to sell lots of your best products and/or services to a small group of raving fans than it is to sell just one item to masses of new customers.
The more contextually related your page headlines are to the calls-to-action people clicked on, the more likely those prospects are to make the connection that your landing page is for them. A great way to ensure your message match is strong is to write your ad CTA on a piece of paper and your landing page headline on another piece of paper underneath. Then look at your ad copy and turn the page. Does your paper click lead to a matched experience?
Click Funnels has a basic email auto-responder in place. So, let’s say someone signed up for a webinar, it can do email sequences and some cool smart triggering so that if someone leaves early, they’ll get a different email sequence and things like that. If you want to do broadcasts and things like that, however, you will need an auto-responder. Russell recommends AWeber or GetResponse. That’s the only tool you should need on top of Click Funnels.
Pros: Easy drag and drop platform. One of the best things about CF is that you can share a template to another user. We have benefitted greatly from having funnels shared to us by other users so that we didn't have to build it from the ground up - change it to our look and feel, but the funnel itself is already in place. Also, their tech support is out of this world. Incredibly helpful for any question!! If they can't provide a link to already-created-FAQ help, they make a simple video from inside your own account and SHOW you how to do what you are trying to get help with. Highly recommend CF. As you can see in the video above, ClickFunnels has a completely brand new interface you can take advantage of. It’s beautiful and stunning so you’ll be able to design even nicer looking landing pages. The first thing you’ll notice about the new interface is the toolbar across the top of the editor and revised looking toolbar alongside the right of the editor.
Easily conduct lifecycle email marketing without spending time on data entry by setting up this automation. From then on, for each new form submission received on Leadpages Zapier will add a new subscriber or update an existing subscriber within your Drip marketing list, so you can rest assured those leads will get your messaging without any manual effort.
“On my first pass, I actually missed the logos near the top. Then going back, I didn’t actually know why the logos were there – social proof works when connected, so I’d add a title like ‘As featured on’ or whatever is relevant. Also consider using the brand colors – believe it or not the mind connects the color before the form – so seeing the McDonalds arches, the yellow hits your retained memory faster than the shape…
It works because it’s simple. The CTA is clear. The design is trustworthy. In addition, the visibility of the signup button remains across all the pages, both at the bottom and the top of the landing pages. That’s a best practice. It also works because visually, they show you exactly what you’ll be getting when you sign up. There are screenshots of the application and not a lot of text. Mint is very benefits-focused.
