Principle of commitment & consistency -- When people commit to something, they're far more likely to purchase from you. That's why getting them to agree to something like a free + shipping offer or by agreeing with something you've said in some way. This is a powerful principle in sales and if you pay attention to some of the best marketers in the world, you'll notice that they work fervently to get your commitment to something, even if it's very small in the beginning.
However, if you're a beginner it's still the way to go because they have drag and drop one click solutions for anybody that is not tech savvy or doesn't know code, that's why ClickFunnels exist. Thanks for your perspective, you do bring up some good points for sure. I wouldn’t say the 100 day bootcamp is a get rich quick scheme, but you really need to put in the effort as some people gotten results within that time frame so it’s definitely possible. However on the other hand, almost 95% of the people won’t achieve anything because of various reasons too. I’m not too sure what rubbed you wrong, but the ABC is built on promoting Clickfunnels so that’s for sure.
Using Clickfunnels and taking advantage of Clickfunnels pricing, you can easily create a marketing funnel from scratch and include all the operational pieces needed to have a high converting funnel. In the "old days" of online business, you had to deal with website hosting, autoresponders, landing page vendors, amongst others just to have everything work in concert together.
Once you choose your opt-in template then you're ready to customize, which is what I've done over here with my client's opt-in funnel. The other thing that you do, and if you've learned anything about marketing online or any kind of marketing for that matter, is A/B split testing, is very important so that you can know what works and what doesn't and you can make your campaigns better and better, smarter and smarter and more and more effective. So, there's a little preview window and once you've run enough traffic to these A and B variance then you can actually declare a winner, and then allow that to be your control or your control variant. To edit these pages you simply click on at page and it takes you into the page editor or the webpage editor.
This page also happens to be their home page, so there are options for “Download,” “Sign Up” and “Log In” in the header (and that’s ignoring all of the clickable elements in the footer!). All of these options make it hard to know exactly what you are supposed to do on this page. In fact, if you scroll below the fold, you may not even be sure what you’re signing up for.
Cons: Despite the promised functionality, Backpack and Actionetics are highly limited. In 2-3 years, the functionality may be unparalleled, but at the moment the little bugs make it an extremely frustrating process. I can't find a good reason to pay the additional money when there are alternatives like Mailchimp for a far better CRM and other decent affiliate solutions out there.
Of course, if you're going the paid ad route, you could also use Facebook and Google re-targeting to keep that awareness and interest level high. For example, if you've ever noticed after leaving a particular website, that you begin to see their ad everywhere, there's a particular reason for that. Especially if they've already entered your sales funnel, this is a very powerful way to get them to act.
At the top of the funnel, no one knows who you are — sure, maybe your mom and a few potential customers know you, but the point of this stage is to get your name out there. You want to create buzz around your product or simply credibility around your brand. This is where you want to spend some time thinking about your personal brand. I’ve helped countless entrepreneurs go from bland to brand on the Internet, and let me tell you, it’s a game of followers, social media influence, and massive online publishing (be it articles like this one and otherwise). Some have even brought on our publicist as a way to get TV placements.
So after about a day of work, I had my five basic pages set up and ready to go. Or so I thought. When you’re doing everything yourself, it is easy to miss the little details. One of the positive points of WordPress is that it’s SEO friendly. Your pages get indexed in Google very easily. The problem is that there are some pages you do not want to be indexed, especially download and thank you pages. I caught the mistake before doing too much damage. After a little more research I was able to remove the pages from my site index. It took a few days before they stopped appearing in Google searches.

3. Who is my audience? And what are their hopes, dreams, and aspirations? As silly as that sounds, it’s true to some degree – the better you understand your audience, the more you can cater to their wants and needs. Unless you know who your ideal customers are, it will be very difficult to write persuasive copy in the voice of the customer. So get in your audience’s head, Hannibal Lecter-style.
Prospecting and marketing are all the things you do to get people into the first of your sales funnel stages. Note that stages are broken into two or more steps wherever possible. A demo could be called a single stage, but in real life it involves a lot of things: contacting the customer, sending reminders, doing the demo, and then following up. Whatever your own sales stages look like, the support you need in managing them will be the same.
