ClickFunnels has more SEO options than one might expect from a landing page builder. Since I am using this for paid advertising campaigns, I did not expect much in the way of SEO features. I was surprised to find that I could at least edit SEO metadata. But, it is still limiting compared to what I could achieve on WordPress. The Yoast SEO plug-in provides a more comprehensive toolset, and with some SEO know-how, you can achieve a lot of best practices using Yoast.
At the end of the day, Clickfunnels is kinda like Sales Funnels for Dummies (not literally dummies, hopefully you’re all picking up my reference here). You don’t have to hire anyone to create one for you (though you certainly can) and you don’t have to be tech-savvy — you just start with one of their pre-created free templates, and then it’s drag and drop from there. Easy-peasy.
Your sales funnel is healthy if you have enough prospects going through it. If you’re moving enough prospects through the funnel with the experiences and interactions you create and if you are able to profitably convert enough prospects into paying customers, your sales funnel is healthy. “I think it’s great that the moment we come to this landing page we immediately know what HubSpot is offering. Both the H1 and the H2 are bolded which is a bit distracting. When viewing the landing page on iPhone the main header text comes up perfectly right under the top gif, which looks really clean. Overall the content does a great job showcasing why we would want these ebook templates. The biggest problems right now is I can’t read the orange text on the FAQ’s, the ebook examples are blurry, and the image behind the form at the bottom distracts from the CTA button. I’d worry people would have a hard time finding that CTA button. I’d also worry that people would not be able to see the arrows to navigate the example ebooks and like to test having less blurry example ebooks. I also think it would be worth testing not having sharing buttons on the landing page, as that could also distract visitors.”
A sales funnel illustrates your customer’s journey and works by increasing the level of engagement and trust in each interaction with your prospect. It typically contains six stages, starting with awareness and ending with loyal customers. Each stage has more meaningful activities than the last. While not all prospects will reach the end of the funnel, those who do are actively engaged and therefore more serious about buying your product or service.

“Content: Great headline. List style headline provides clear value to site visitors. In addition, information like the number of pages gives an impression that the content is loaded with tons of value and time investment estimate assure them that it only takes minimal investment (time) from their end. On MailChimp’s pricing page, the focus is on getting you signed up for free, with an email, username, and password. They want to get you up and running and start using the product as soon as possible. They hope you will help them market themselves by using their products and spreading MailChimp further. Email marketing is often a one-too-many communication platform. The more you use it, the more likely you are to upgrade.
This is a very important part in measuring conversion and will play a big role in how widespread the templates are used so they don’t become saturated. Personally, one of the only drawbacks (if you could even call it a drawback) to LeadPages is that they were so good, that now most well known (and even novice) internet marketers are using the platform for Facebook Ads left right and center.
Or, are you a leader, an adventurer or an evangelist? How you position yourself is entirely up to you, but your message must be consistent throughout your entire "pitch" and it needs to be steeped in the truth. Your backstory, and just how you convey that through parables, character flaws and polarity, has much to do with just how well you can "hook" in your prospects to create a mass movement.
Sales teams are almost always urged to qualify leads before fully pursuing them. Qualifying leads accurately in this stage establishes an effective sales process. Reps use the BANT technique to determine if leads have the budget, need, authority and timeline to purchase. Only leads that meet the qualification criteria become potential opportunities and trickle down. Pushing leads without proper qualification into the sales funnel will clog your sales cycle, and won’t necessarily lead to revenue.
Prospecting and marketing are all the things you do to get people into the first of your sales funnel stages. Note that stages are broken into two or more steps wherever possible. A demo could be called a single stage, but in real life it involves a lot of things: contacting the customer, sending reminders, doing the demo, and then following up. Whatever your own sales stages look like, the support you need in managing them will be the same.
