Landing page optimization (LPO) is one part of a broader Internet marketing process called conversion optimization, or conversion rate optimization (CRO), with the goal of improving the percentage of visitors to the website that become sales leads and customers. A landing page is a webpage that is displayed when a potential customer clicks an advertisement or a search engine result link. This webpage typically displays content that is a relevant extension of the advertisement or link. LPO aims to provide page content and appearance that makes the webpage more appealing to target audiences.
Steps in Sales Funnel – This lays out for you, point-by-point, each page and step the customer goes through on their way to making a purchase. In some cases, it also works to point out some of the follow-up steps and “if-then” scenarios. For instance, how does the funnel respond “intelligently” to get prospects who didn’t buy to come back to the website?
Funnel Hacks System will give you all the benefits discussed above for just $997. This is a steal of the value if you only think about only the cost for the ClickFunnels Etison Suite which will set you back $1782 if you decide to acquire merely the ClickFunnels suite. Nevertheless, if you choose to register to the Funnel Hacks System, you will get access to the Etison Suite and also to a whole lot of training not just for funnel building, however even for sales marketing and sales.
Hello! Great article! I sell organic food products that we have been manufacturing in Maine for 14 years. Our internet business has always done great, but could be phenomenal. I’m new to building funnels, buying ads and marketing them. Would you suggest SamCart or CF for the type of product I offer? Also, I would imagine that once a sales funnel is in place, ads would still need to be made in order to promote them? And if so, do any of the above platforms offer this type of support? Thank you 🙂

Cons: I've tried out the product after being slammed with 3-4 emails per day. Funny thing is I did a 14-day trial and was already planning on sticking around, not sure why I needed to get so many emails every day that was a bit annoying. After I upgraded I realized that all the best funnels were additional fees, and also the email automation was additional fees as well. The cost insist cheap for this software. I see some value if you really are focused on your business, this is not for a passive user as the fees add up quickly.
Here’s an example. To create your prospect experience in the Awareness stage, think about and articulate what you will do or say to your prospects when you first meet them. Then think about how your interaction will make them feel. Consider your prospects and their needs as you’re doing this. Then, document your actions and your prospect’s experience for this stage. Repeat this throughout the entire sales funnel.
LeadPages is an online tool that you can use to collect email subscribers. That is the main function of LeadPages, and they provide tons of purdy templates that you can use for lead magnets, webinars, and landing pages in order to grow your email list. LeadPages also has templates for things like sales pages — it’s a very robust tool! I literally use it everyday.
So after about a day of work, I had my five basic pages set up and ready to go. Or so I thought. When you’re doing everything yourself, it is easy to miss the little details. One of the positive points of WordPress is that it’s SEO friendly. Your pages get indexed in Google very easily. The problem is that there are some pages you do not want to be indexed, especially download and thank you pages. I caught the mistake before doing too much damage. After a little more research I was able to remove the pages from my site index. It took a few days before they stopped appearing in Google searches.
Pros: Easy drag and drop platform. One of the best things about CF is that you can share a template to another user. We have benefitted greatly from having funnels shared to us by other users so that we didn't have to build it from the ground up - change it to our look and feel, but the funnel itself is already in place. Also, their tech support is out of this world. Incredibly helpful for any question!! If they can't provide a link to already-created-FAQ help, they make a simple video from inside your own account and SHOW you how to do what you are trying to get help with. Highly recommend CF. Pinterest’s approach is different in that they don’t spend much time explaining what Pinterest is, since they can assume most people have already heard of them. Instead, a different example of Pinterest’s value is shown with each visit to the site, with a broader explanation of Pinterest (find and save all the things that inspire you) that sits below the main headline. What is Pinterest doing right here?
My research into funnels and recent experience with ClickFunnels gave me some clues. I needed five pages for my WordPress funnel. Opt-in, confirmation, thank you, quote request, and download. The first issue I ran into was that WordPress pages contain a sidebar on the right by default. If I put links there it takes this squeeze out of the squeeze page, and if I leave it blank it looks weird.
We realize that when you make a decision to buy Sales Software it’s important not only to see how experts evaluate it in their reviews, but also to find out if the real people and companies that buy it are actually satisfied with the product. That’s why we’ve created our behavior-based Customer Satisfaction Algorithm™ that gathers customer reviews, comments and ClickFunnels reviews across a wide range of social media sites. The data is then presented in an easy to digest form showing how many people had positive and negative experience with ClickFunnels. With that information at hand you should be equipped to make an informed buying decision that you won’t regret.
You can configure the lead scoring rules to match your ideal buyer persona by simply adding or subtracting points for the lead property. For example, if your business is purely local, then for a lead to become your customer the minimum criteria is to be within your service area. Add 20 points. If the lead doesn’t belong to an industry you serve, subtract 10 points. In addition to that, you can also customize scores for email, application and web activity. Bring everything together, and you have a list of hot, warm and cold leads in the sales funnel for your sales reps to focus and close more deals faster.
The free virtual summit consists of interviews with these millionaires where they walk you through their 1–30 day action plans. There’s a catch…these interviews are only available to watch for 72 hours and then they disappear. Naturally, it being Clickfunnels, there’s an upsell: if you want to have access to all 30 interviews forever, AND get individual coaching from Russell and his team, it’s $100. That’s a fricking amazing deal.
Are fast as Ferraris. Speed is essential, as loading times have a tremendous affect on bounce rates. An excellent landing page is built like a bullet, so get out your stop watch and get your landing page moving at a healthy clip. Reduce load times by not making your images files any larger than they have to be, using cache tools, and using a speedy web host (some are a lot faster than other).
Activity reminders also help you manage prospects through your sales funnel by not letting important sales activities slip through the cracks. Most CRMs come with activity reminders that can help you stay on top things. Pipedrive’s activity reminder and notification features remind you of important prospect-related activities. You can create sales funnel activities and then create reminders or notifications related to those activities.
The final stage of the sales funnel is the action that you're intending them to perform. In most cases this is the purchase. Again, how well you move them through the various stages is going to set you up with a specific conversion for this action. For example, if 100 people click on your offer and 10 people enter your sales funnel but only purchase people purchase, then you have a 2 percent conversion.
If you don’t want to have to use a web designer for your landing pages, there are options for creating great landing pages without any technical knowledge. Unbounce is one of the easiest to use, and lets you create landing pages without any IT experience. They have best-practices templates available that you can customize (or design your own page entirely from scratch), and flexible pricing (including a free plan for sites with limited traffic). Unbounce also integrates with Google Analytics for tracking your traffic, and Qualaroo for gathering user input.
Hello – at first looking at the Imbound plugins for landing pages – call-to-action -and Imbound forms- I thought “what a great system plugin for WordPress. However – after creating a landing page and then tring to utilize the call to action by placing the shortcode in the landing page – it does not show up.These are the most important function of them all! So then I created an Imbound form instead for Email and although it seems to work – I find out later when testing it does not send out any email when tested. I wondered why I did not get any responses – not even one! Not to my notification email or to the one who subscribes. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and advertised the landing page, and now I do not know whether I have gotten any responses or not. I tried to get support earlier on when attempting to use these plugins because the help videos just disappeared after navigating away one time. I cannot find any directions or videos – nor can I get any support response. So it seems to be a good idea gone bad to me. Mistakes and malfunctions can and do happen with a lot of plugins, but the worst thing in the world is not getting any support what-so-ever! So I suppose there is not a lot of “going Premium” with these plugins.
MailChimp is a freemium email marketing tool. Similar to Wufoo, they offer a free plan (good through 2,000 contacts). A bit of background: MailChimp grew their business significantly when they decided to go freemium. How? At the bottom of every email, it would say something like Powered by MailChimp. Every customer email sent helped to spread the word. It created a kind of viral loop.
