Landing pages originated with the IT departments of Microsoft in late 2003 in response to poor online sales of Office.[5] The process was tedious and time-consuming. As a result, in 2009, several startups, including Unbounce, were formed to simplify and streamline the process. The rise of cloud computing and e-commerce around 2009 provided ideal conditions for these startups to flourish.[5] Since then the customer requirements changed, requesting integrations with other solutions such as email marketing, lead nurturing and customer relationship management systems.

But let’s say that you want at least 100 people to purchase from your sales funnel. You can work backwards to see how many people you need at each point along the funnel. If you want 100 sales, you would need 250 people to end up on your landing page (100 divided by 0.40). In order to get 250 people on your landing, your social media ad needs to target 1,250 consumers (250 divided by 0.20).
Actionetics capitalizes on the power of follow-up marketing to maximize your return on investment. This all-in-one tool is meant to be a replacement for your email autoresponder, Facebook Messenger bot, desktop push notifications, and more. Simply put, Actionetics let’s you extend your funnel beyond your ClickFunnels pages in order to turn bounced visitors into conversions, and customers into repeat buyers.
In a recent conversation I had with Perry Belcher, co-founder of Native Commerce Media, he told me that you also need to train your prospects to click on links. For example, you could have them click on a link of what interests them or link them to a blog post or eventually to a product or service that you're selling, but you need to train them to build a habit of clicking on those links from the very beginning.
You also have your email integration for your email service provider of choice. That's where all of this lives. For instance, I can choose my MailChimp account here or my Actionetics account, again, that's part of the Etison Suite that I was mentioning. I have the Etison Suite for everything that I do. And then the way the screen or the pages are constructed are in three or four, technically, but really three different ways. You've got sections, which, if you see my mouse hovering here, you can see the light, see phone green, these are the sections. Then you have rows, which are the blue that you see here, and you've got elements inside of rows and they're the orange elements.
ClickFunnels is now a fairly mature service developed by Russell Brunson and his team. It’s now been up and running for more than 3 years at the time of this review. As a quick aside, I learned about ClickFunnels through Russell’s new book DotCom Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company Online. If you want to learn how to sell products, then I highly recommend it.
Open-ended experimentation. This approach is similar to closed-ended experimentation except that more variations will be added for testing and experimentation will not stop when a winner is found. This method is used by large corporation to dynamically improve their conversion rates and improve user experience. Landing page can also be adjusted dynamically as the experiment results change to further enhance user experience.
The full Etison suite allows you to set up an unlimited number of funnels, meaning that the marketing possibilities are endless. Similarly, you are also able to host an unlimited number of users in your membership funnel, which is very useful. You can also set up an unlimited number of pages per funnel, giving you unparalleled control and power. Put simply, the Etison suite gives you limitless power and access with regards to marketing funnels.
When it comes to Backpack, you are not short of useful marketing features either! Backpack is a native application that you can use it for managing affiliate marketing processes. The backpack allows you to seamlessly integrate affiliate programs into sales funnels, giving you enhanced power and information. With Backpack, you can effectively view your affiliate progress, see your affiliate profile, assess your due payments, set up commission plans and tiers, and manage your affiliate funnels.
Pros: Let's face it, funnels are the way to go to assist a customer in a purchase decision. Click Funnels is a easy to use and well put together platform. Their training sequence is fun and effective. They do an excellent job at making you feel a part of a club. I was on the trial offer and did not opt for a paid plan and I will elaborate below. Does this funnel system work- yes. Can a beginner do well with the CF software- maybe. Do they deliver the product they sell and provide appropriate support, absolutely. Is it worth per month? That is for you to decide but for me it was a no. Here is why-
This is also kind of a starting block, if you will, for my ClickFunnels affiliate sales. I do reviews, I also offer bonuses, which I'll go ahead and show you here real quick. I have several preexisting pre-built funnels, a perfect webinar funnel, if you're selling real stuff, like in an eCommerce platform, if you're trying to do a product launch. A couple of my clients currently, that I'm building funnels for, is in the middle a product launch. If you're in an MLM or a network marketing situation, I've got a funnel for you. I've got a fishbowl funnel. I've got best selling book funnels for authors, and, as you can see, a ton more. If you tell me what you're into, once you can sign up using my ClickFunnels affiliate link, I'll be happy to give you maybe an even more relevant funnel to your particular niche or vertical that you're in.

The image above is a glimpse at one of my webinars that I created in LeadPages. I embedded my live webinar presentation into a webinar template in LeadPages and also added a chat box (not pictured) below the webinar so that attendees could communicate and ask questions. Webinar software can be very pricy, but this solution allows you to do them nearly for free by embedding a live Google Hangouts broadcast. LeadPages is a great option for anyone getting started with webinars.
Before I go much further, it's important to note that we are comparing two similar solutions, but by no means are they exact matches. However, there are plenty of overlaps that can confuse a good buying  decision. That’s why I’ve spent so much time and effort on this Clickfunnels Review. I want my readers and audience to get an exhaustive look on the sales funnel tools of choice and how they can best benefit.
Now I know you might think, this is the whole reason the software was created so you can see who’s moving through the funnel. But LeadPages could have definitely implemented a simple system where they could link up funnels in the same way (and probably will in the near future). It makes it super straight forward to see which funnel is working and which parts of your funnel need tweaking.
The free virtual summit consists of interviews with these millionaires where they walk you through their 1–30 day action plans. There’s a catch…these interviews are only available to watch for 72 hours and then they disappear. Naturally, it being Clickfunnels, there’s an upsell: if you want to have access to all 30 interviews forever, AND get individual coaching from Russell and his team, it’s $100. That’s a fricking amazing deal.

This is a very important part in measuring conversion and will play a big role in how widespread the templates are used so they don’t become saturated. Personally, one of the only drawbacks (if you could even call it a drawback) to LeadPages is that they were so good, that now most well known (and even novice) internet marketers are using the platform for Facebook Ads left right and center.

Have clickable share buttons. Many people are more than happy to post about a recent purchase or share a resource they have found helpful. Adding share buttons increases your chances of getting your content shared across the social space, and great landing pages make generous use of these buttons. It’s also smart to add social buttons to the thank you page, since users will be more likely to share your great offer with others after they’ve signed up themselves. As an added bonus, showing your “likes” and follows can also serve as a word-of-mouth endorsement.

OK, ok…that said, it may take you awhile to get acquainted and comfortable with all the Clickfunnels features — there are a lot of details you’ll have to figure out once your sales funnel is built. Things like what domain you’re going to assign it to (you can buy one for an easy $20 through Clickfunnels or attach it to an existing domain), your SEO data, if you’re going to integrate it with your email platform, creating split test pages, testing your live funnel, etc, etc.

The first helps direct attention to the goal of the page -- for you to fill out the form -- in a way that's unobtrusive and feels less like a chore. The second gives this page an SEO boost (search engines will have more content to crawl) and assuages any worry from folks who need to know more about a piece of content before handing over their information, all while not distracting people from the chat window.
You can configure the lead scoring rules to match your ideal buyer persona by simply adding or subtracting points for the lead property. For example, if your business is purely local, then for a lead to become your customer the minimum criteria is to be within your service area. Add 20 points. If the lead doesn’t belong to an industry you serve, subtract 10 points. In addition to that, you can also customize scores for email, application and web activity. Bring everything together, and you have a list of hot, warm and cold leads in the sales funnel for your sales reps to focus and close more deals faster.

Cons: The advance funnels are not easy & make you work to understand the concept & how to implement it for your business. So you will have to spend quite some time to understand how to make advanced funnels work for you. Seems archaic with its interface & editor while compared to other competitors. A limited number of templates is a handicap at times. Integration is straightforward, but tracking can be tricky on the dashboard & you always feel there is double counting - as it clearly doesn't show who bought at which stage.

Create eye catching headlines. Most good landing pages use the main headline to confirm the offer and use a sub heading for more explanation or value proposition (aka why your offer is awesome).  An example might be, “Free Facebook Marketing Ebook (headline), Learn how to get more Facebook followers, likes, and engagement from our marketing gurus (sub heading).” You’ll see plenty of great landing page headlines in our examples below, and you’ll see that some invert this so that the value proposition is the headline.
I admit it, I was late to the game…not just on understanding what a sales funnel is in the marketing world, but with getting into Clickfunnels and learning to build my own. You see, Clickfunnels is a majikal marketing platform that truly makes it easy to sell anything. A physical product, yourself, a digital product, a health supplement, a webinar, an online course…pretty much anything. It’s first and foremost a sales funnel builder, and it’s an alternative to building your own landing pages within something like Wordpress, and having to mess around with endless plugins.

Hello – at first looking at the Imbound plugins for landing pages – call-to-action -and Imbound forms- I thought “what a great system plugin for WordPress. However – after creating a landing page and then tring to utilize the call to action by placing the shortcode in the landing page – it does not show up.These are the most important function of them all! So then I created an Imbound form instead for Email and although it seems to work – I find out later when testing it does not send out any email when tested. I wondered why I did not get any responses – not even one! Not to my notification email or to the one who subscribes. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and advertised the landing page, and now I do not know whether I have gotten any responses or not. I tried to get support earlier on when attempting to use these plugins because the help videos just disappeared after navigating away one time. I cannot find any directions or videos – nor can I get any support response. So it seems to be a good idea gone bad to me. Mistakes and malfunctions can and do happen with a lot of plugins, but the worst thing in the world is not getting any support what-so-ever! So I suppose there is not a lot of “going Premium” with these plugins.

Funnel Hacks System is a training program bundled with a 6-month access to a full ClickFunnels suite. This includes the ClickFunnels platform, Actionetics and Backpack. What sets it apart from other offers is that Funnel Hacks comes not only with the full ClickFunnels suite, but also with training and guides to make the most out of your ClickFunnels experience.
For example, an ecommerce site might model their visitors in a funnel, and identify that there is a large dropoff in users between visiting the shopping cart and actually completing the transaction. Using this data, the company can then form hypothesis as to why this is the case and test ideas for improving conversion rate, such as reducing form fields, establishing trust with seals, or offering limited time offers.

Depending on your business and industry, you could have 1,000 prospects at the top of your funnel. However, towards the end of your funnel, you may have 25 prospects. While these 25 prospects are more likely to convert than the ones at the top of the sales funnel, at the very end, there may only be five customers who’ve made a purchase and only two that are repeat customers.
As you can see, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Some of the cons are pretty nitpicky, including the URLs being messy, but that’s more of a personal preference than anything. I know there are lots of other landing page builders that people will use, including Thrive Architect by Thrive Themes. For me, I’ve found the funnel step integration to be some of the easiest funnel software to design though.

Cons: The membership area functionality isn't as great as other solutions, but I understand they are focused on being the best funnel software, not the best membership site software. If they upgrade their membership area and email / list marketing features, I would move everything onto clickfunnels. That would be dream, rather than integrating clickfunnels with an email tool and membership tool. I know they're working on improving these solutions and I'm looking forward to this software becoming that much more amazing.
It’s super refreshing to see a platform with some new pages, kind of reminds me of Unbounce. As you can see in the image above, their range of page designs are quite vast (this is only for Opt Ins) and can be used in a number of ways. While they may not look as sexy as LeadPages landing pages right off the bat, at the end of the day all that matters is the conversion rates.
Hello Sunil.. thank you for your feedback, it’s great to hear that you are finding this article useful. Re your question: yes, it makes sense to follow-up as often as you need to to reach the decision-maker. At the early stage of cold calling / emailing / SMS you may have to follow-up 6-12 times with a combination of cold calls and cold emails before you get to kick-started with your prospective customer. Obviously if they unsubscribe or say no then you have to respect this. At later stages, non-response would indicate that your prospective customer no longer sees (or has doubts) about the potential value of the solution you are selling. After following-up 2 times at a later stage, I would make it easy for your prospect to voice their concerns by communicating something like: “I’m struggling to reach you, perhaps we could hop on a call for 5 minutes as I’d like to understand your current thoughts rather than assume you are no longer interested in progressing.”
SOAP & Seinfeld Email Sequences – So you’re building an email list, right? However are you aware of how you can leverage your list to the maximum? It’s all in the follow-up emails. This course shows you the most efficient follow-up techniques for both immediately after a new subscriber joins your list and how to build a long-term relationship with your readers. This is an email message and Series to Convert Subscribers to Buyers.
CRM software like Pipedrive has automation tools, activity reminders, and activity schedulers that help you plan and execute activities that coincide with the stages of your sales funnel. Pipedrive also makes it easier to implement your sales funnel by showcasing upcoming and overdue activities, which keeps you focused on the activities throughout the entire sales process that matter.
Clickfunnels is an online sales funnel builder that helps businesses market, sell, and deliver their products online. People inevitably ask me, "What is Clickfunnels?". So, technically speaking, it is a funnel builder for online businesses who want to get their message and product into the marketplace in the most efficient way possible. Efficient meaning, high conversion rates. Sales funnels built with Clickfunnels do collectively over $1 Billion dollars every year and Clickfunnels has active about 50,000 users. I can confidently say that Clickfunnels can accommodate any industry, any niche, any vertical. Sales funnels can be manipulated and optimized so easily using Clickfunnels giving the end user the best opportunity to make more money online and scale a modern business platform.
Actionetics is ClickFunnels’ e-mail automation application which is native to ClickFunnels. Producing e-mails and messages are facilitated with the e-mail builder which has a nearly similar characteristic to the funnel builder. Another cool aspect of Actionetics is its Action Funnels function. Action Funnels let you hyper-segment contacts to set off specific actions whether it is internal or external. Internal actions consist of being eliminated to an email list, added to email list, etc. External actions include being able to get email series.
So, friends, there you have it! I hope this introduction to LeadPages was helpful for you. I really do use it in a LOT of different ways — I can’t imagine my business without it! If you’re trying to put more of a focus on growing your email list (hint: you should), then LeadPages will absolutely help you do that. I’m working on more LeadPages tutorials, because it really is a powerful tool, so let me know if there’s anything you’d love to know more about.

Valued at $9770, the Funnel Hacks System is a training program style to stroll you through the entire funnel building procedure and guide you to creating effective funnels for whatever marketing purpose you can think of. When you avail of this offer, you do not just get training for ClickFunnels, but a full access to ClickFunnels Etison suite as well.

Now all of this landing page theory is nice, but reading about landing page design and actually designing an effective landing page are two very different things. If you want to create landing pages for your marketing campaigns, you have two basic options: 1) build the pages directly on your site or 2) create the landing pages using a landing page tool.
But, given the volume of leads that fill your funnel, sales teams have a hard time converting leads into customers because they cannot discern the hot from the cold. This results in unqualified hot leads in the top of the funnel that either drop out due to slow response times, or remain stuck in the middle of the funnel eventually becoming cold leads. For a business this means missing out on golden ($) opportunities. And, that’s just one leak. There are more ways you lose leads in the sales funnel.

Cons: I've tried out the product after being slammed with 3-4 emails per day. Funny thing is I did a 14-day trial and was already planning on sticking around, not sure why I needed to get so many emails every day that was a bit annoying. After I upgraded I realized that all the best funnels were additional fees, and also the email automation was additional fees as well. The cost insist cheap for this software. I see some value if you really are focused on your business, this is not for a passive user as the fees add up quickly.

This course teaches you the most effective follow up techniques for both immediately after a new subscriber joins you list and to continuing building a long term relationship. The money is in the list, nurture it.
We can’t stress this enough—the biggest challenge for a sales rep is to be able to identify qualified sales leads. Experienced sales reps probably know how to qualify their leads over time, and therefore effectively work on the right opportunities. But for the rest of them, this is still a burning issue. The struggle to pick out qualified leads in the funnel forces sales reps to chase them all. The result—getting nowhere.
There are email warming sequences that include things like personalized value-driven stories, tutorials and even soft pushes to webinars, and of course product suggestions that happen over days or even weeks. The truth is that most prospects won't buy from your website at first glance, especially if they're only just becoming aware of you today. It takes time. Thus, the funnel is a multi-modality process, as there are a variety of relationship-building experiences and "touches" that occur through several stages.
