Of course, if you're going the paid ad route, you could also use Facebook and Google re-targeting to keep that awareness and interest level high. For example, if you've ever noticed after leaving a particular website, that you begin to see their ad everywhere, there's a particular reason for that. Especially if they've already entered your sales funnel, this is a very powerful way to get them to act.
This is not something I’ve tried, but I have seen others use it successfully. I’m sure you’ve seen this before! Basically, you can have someone text a certain word or phrase to a specific number. They’ll receive a text telling them to respond with their email address and then once they do, they’ll be subscribed! This has a number of really neat uses, like:

Being a few years beyond the Millennial generation, I was in need of a conversation with a Clickfunnels representative to answer my questions. A rep immediately emailed back some link that were in no way helpful. I emailed back to again request a conversation. A rep called Nicholas replied that they are not allowed to talk on the phone. To be honest, I haven’t really explored LeadPages’ sales page templates a whole lot because I tend to design them myself in WordPress. However, when I created my free Pinterest e-book, I decided to create a sales page-esque landing page, which gave more information about the freebie, much like a sales page would. I also used one of LeadPages’ sales page templates to design it.

The sales funnel simply depicts how leads traverse through your sales process from start to close. It’s only a visual representation of the numbers game in the form of a funnel; there’s more than meets the eye. If you analyse the number of leads who enter your funnel and the number who convert to customers, more than likely you’ll find there’s a huge dip. Sometimes prospects drop out of the sides of your funnel when their needs don’t match your services. While it’s nearly impossible to retain every prospect who enters your funnel, it’s however important for your sales team to make efforts to retain the ones who are ready to buy.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that your visitors won’t scroll down the page to read more information. But hopefully, at least some percentage of your visitors will be ready to buy as soon as they arrive on your landing page, either because the email or link that brought them there already persuaded them, or because it’s not their first time visiting the page. Putting a call to action right near the top of the page just makes things easier on these visitors.
Capturing leads is the first step to the sales process. Some CRMs have the capability to capture leads who visit your website, submit a form, email your company, etc. So it’s easier for sales reps to start working with leads instead of wasting time on data entry. CRM can also segment leads based on predefined criteria and assign them to the right sales reps.
Closed-ended experimentation. Consumers are exposed to several variations of landing pages, altering elements like headlines, formatting and layout while their behavior is observed in an attempt to remove distractions that will take the lead away from the page, including the primary navigation. At the conclusion of the experiment, an optimal page is selected based on the outcome of the experiment.
Unique visitors instead of total visits — If you're counting every visit in the denominator of the equation, you're including return visits too. This doesn't make sense if someone can only convert once (e.g. signup for an account). Consider how they might check out the site a few times before converting. If so, don't let that deflate your conversion metric. Instead, count the unique number of visitors in any given period. And make your period at least as long as the average time it takes for someone to convert after first visiting your site.
Unfortunately, most people instinctively distrust marketing material. Generally speaking, most marketers tell the story that puts their offer in the best possible light. After all, marketers make money off of telling people their product is great. Maybe your offer is as good as you say it is, but it’s hard to believe someone who gets paid to talk about how awesome their offer is.

Hello Sunil.. thank you for your feedback, it’s great to hear that you are finding this article useful. Re your question: yes, it makes sense to follow-up as often as you need to to reach the decision-maker. At the early stage of cold calling / emailing / SMS you may have to follow-up 6-12 times with a combination of cold calls and cold emails before you get to kick-started with your prospective customer. Obviously if they unsubscribe or say no then you have to respect this. At later stages, non-response would indicate that your prospective customer no longer sees (or has doubts) about the potential value of the solution you are selling. After following-up 2 times at a later stage, I would make it easy for your prospect to voice their concerns by communicating something like: “I’m struggling to reach you, perhaps we could hop on a call for 5 minutes as I’d like to understand your current thoughts rather than assume you are no longer interested in progressing.”
Measuring how well your sales team is converting leads is imperative to determine the quality of leads and individual sales rep’s performance. With a CRM, you can create reports to know how your leads are converting through different stages by sales reps, and by campaign too. Analyzing which leads are moving down the funnel and converting allows you to plan better conversion strategies.
It's crucial to follow-up with leads while they are warm, but it's not always easy because of all the manual steps it takes. This integration automates those steps for you. When new Leadpages forms are submitted, Lead Connect automatically calls your sales team and the first person to accept the call is connected with the person who filled out the form.
Let’s be clear—leads won’t automatically move down the funnel. Sales reps have to continue to do their part of selling and allow the CRM to update the lead’s stage in the funnel by completing certain actions. You can setup workflow automations in the CRM to change lead stages. For example, after you’ve contacted a lead, the CRM will automatically update the lead’s stage based on the last activity.
Are fast as Ferraris. Speed is essential, as loading times have a tremendous affect on bounce rates. An excellent landing page is built like a bullet, so get out your stop watch and get your landing page moving at a healthy clip. Reduce load times by not making your images files any larger than they have to be, using cache tools, and using a speedy web host (some are a lot faster than other).
Prospecting and marketing are all the things you do to get people into the first of your sales funnel stages. Note that stages are broken into two or more steps wherever possible. A demo could be called a single stage, but in real life it involves a lot of things: contacting the customer, sending reminders, doing the demo, and then following up. Whatever your own sales stages look like, the support you need in managing them will be the same.
