Re your question: yes, it makes sense to follow-up as often as you need to to reach the decision-maker. At the early stage of cold calling / emailing / SMS you may have to follow-up 6-12 times with a combination of cold calls and cold emails before you get to kick-started with your prospective customer. Obviously if they unsubscribe or say no then you have to respect this. At later stages, non-response would indicate that your prospective customer no longer sees (or has doubts) about the potential value of the solution you are selling. After following-up 2 times at a later stage, I would make it easy for your prospect to voice their concerns by communicating something like: “I’m struggling to reach you, perhaps we could hop on a call for 5 minutes as I’d like to understand your current thoughts rather than assume you are no longer interested in progressing.”
Follow-up with a thank you page. The thank-you page is a great way to guide visitors to other related material on your website that they may be interested in. Providing this added info in the initial landing page would have been distracting and could have led visitors away from making a conversion. However, now that you’ve sealed the deal, the thank-you page is the perfect place to suggest related products, guides and information your audience may find helpful, or links to other parts of your site, such as your company blog.

Novices would like to believe that once a successful funnel is in place and generating satisfactory revenue results, you can simply duplicate that funnel for each new product launch. The error in this thought process is that not all buyers purchase in the same fashion. When you are ready to roll out a new product, you must start back at step one and begin the reconnaissance phase again by studying that particular market, those specific buyers and the players already in the game.
Become an authority in your industry and/or region. If you're known far and wide for being an industry expert, you'll have prospects seeking you out rather than the other way around. Your sales funnel is healthy if you have enough prospects going through it. If you’re moving enough prospects through the funnel with the experiences and interactions you create and if you are able to profitably convert enough prospects into paying customers, your sales funnel is healthy. The reason I call this the ideal scenario is because it assumes that you found Spotify from your Google search for "streaming music." In reality, Spotify worked to attract you to their service through YouTube ads, social media advertising, and other marketing channels. For content based on Niche website, I’ve been able to setup a membership site for my contractors so they can login and see what I expect out of them when they work on my sites. It’s a crucial part of my business. While I could setup a password protected page for them on my site if I chose, I personally like having a separate site that provides easy to use instructions that cover ALL of my online properties, and not just one specific website.
