Once you have the building blocks in mind, you need to make it your own. You'll want to mimic, not duplicate, the successful components you observed in the recon stage. Using your own content, your own product and your own images, task your graphics team with designing a landing page look and layout that's proven to be successful. Then, follow through with the design of pop-ups, follow-up emails and multiple purchase point options for both first-time and returning customers. Once the funnel has been tested, it's time to go live.

The final stage of the sales funnel is the action that you're intending them to perform. In most cases this is the purchase. For example, if 100 people click on your offer and 10 people enter your sales funnel but only purchase people purchase, then you have a 2 percent conversion.

To be honest, I haven’t really explored LeadPages’ sales page templates a whole lot because I tend to design them myself in WordPress. However, when I created my free Pinterest e-book, I decided to create a sales page-esque landing page, which gave more information about the freebie, much like a sales page would. I also used one of LeadPages’ sales page templates to design it.
Pros: Man oh man do I love ClickFunnels. I've been using them for 4+ years and am a huge fan. Not only is the price point super affordable, but if you want to get into selling online and want an all-in-one solution, it's ClickFunnels. My current company is a bit more established to have the core of our business run on ClickFunnels, but I use it all the time to test out new offerings or programs before having our development team hard-code it onto our main website.
Include more than one call to action (CTA) on your website. Chances are that your website visitors will be at different stages of the customer journey. Some might be ready to call or email while others might be researching. Make sure to include offers like free eBooks or whitepapers to capture names and email addresses for those who aren't quite ready to talk to your sales team.
Being a few years beyond the Millennial generation, I was in need of a conversation with a Clickfunnels representative to answer my questions. I admit it, I was late to the game…not just on understanding what a sales funnel is in the marketing world, but with getting into Clickfunnels and learning to build my own. You see, Clickfunnels is a majikal marketing platform that truly makes it easy to sell anything. A physical product, yourself, a digital product, a health supplement, a webinar, an online course…pretty much anything. It’s first and foremost a sales funnel builder, and it’s an alternative to building your own landing pages within something like Wordpress, and having to mess around with endless plugins.
It’s easily integrated with a custom domain, so you can set up your landing pages, membership site and/or sales funnels on your own website, or a custom domain. It has a plugin that allows you to integrate it with WordPress as well, although you can’t take payments on your own WordPress site if you charge your customers for services, as they have their own set of SSL requirements when taking payments. You can also start your funnel on your website, and host the next steps of the funnel where payments are taken on the default platform for ClickFunnels.
Adopting a CRM positively impacts sales teams’ performance. But, what most users miss to realize is that CRM software is not just a customer database; it’s also the most beneficial tool for managing the sales funnel and pipeline. “I think it’s great that the moment we come to this landing page we immediately know what HubSpot is offering. Both the H1 and the H2 are bolded which is a bit distracting. When viewing the landing page on iPhone the main header text comes up perfectly right under the top gif, which looks really clean. Overall the content does a great job showcasing why we would want these ebook templates. The biggest problems right now is I can’t read the orange text on the FAQ’s, the ebook examples are blurry, and the image behind the form at the bottom distracts from the CTA button. I’d worry people would have a hard time finding that CTA button. I’d also worry that people would not be able to see the arrows to navigate the example ebooks and like to test having less blurry example ebooks. I also think it would be worth testing not having sharing buttons on the landing page, as that could also distract visitors.”
There are email warming sequences that include things like personalized value-driven stories, tutorials and even soft pushes to webinars, and of course product suggestions that happen over days or even weeks. The truth is that most prospects won't buy from your website at first glance, especially if they're only just becoming aware of you today. It takes time. Thus, the funnel is a multi-modality process, as there are a variety of relationship-building experiences and "touches" that occur through several stages.
Chris is right, it is not the cost, it is the investment you are willing to make into your business here. Personally, I took the attitude of it being too costly at first, and trust me, I can afford it, I am just frugal. But now, looking at the powerful software and tool that it is, well, I am switching from Thrive to ClickFunnels. Also known as click-through landing pages, nurturing visitors directly on your site is a more advanced marketing technique. They’re sort of a combination of lead generation and direct sales landing pages. Their purpose is to warm leads through a sales funnel directly on your site. They keep visitors clicking through and converting as you guide them through your on-site sales path. You don’t necessarily need a personalized, segmented email automation campaign you might implement with lead generation (or a dropped sales cart).
Have a flawless design. Information architecture comes into play here, as it’s important for a landing page to have a clear, crisp design that leaves all questions answered without inspiring any new ones. Navigation should be obvious and simple, all required information should be provided, and nothing should come between the visitor and the conversion (aka no pop ups!) If at all possible, visitors should be able to convert in one click. Let every additional click weigh on your conscience like a heart beating beneath a floorboard.
Depending on what you’re selling and who you’re marketing to, you might answer that question in a number of different ways. For example, if bug-free software is a big deal to your potential customers, you may want to focus on how fine-tuned your software is. You might want to include a section about your support team, how many users you have, how you handle errors…you get the idea.
Businesses built around one or two customers that aren’t looking expand should focus on building out the loyalty phase of the sales funnel. However, a CRM is best for managing the customer’s journey for businesses that want to create the best possible experience during each stage of the process in order to increase your number of sales, as they provide tools to help you automate and scale your sales funnel activities.
It’s super refreshing to see a platform with some new pages, kind of reminds me of Unbounce. As you can see in the image above, their range of page designs are quite vast (this is only for Opt Ins) and can be used in a number of ways. While they may not look as sexy as LeadPages landing pages right off the bat, at the end of the day all that matters is the conversion rates.
If you try to opt-in with the same information to get another video, they ask you to sign up again. I believe that is their process. Like I said, that creates some friction. Yes, you can enter a fake email, but, if you believe in the quality of the content (and it is really good content; Andrew is one of the best interviewers on the Internet), you won’t.
