In a recent conversation I had with Perry Belcher, co-founder of Native Commerce Media, he told me that you also need to train your prospects to click on links. For example, you could have them click on a link of what interests them or link them to a blog post or eventually to a product or service that you're selling, but you need to train them to build a habit of clicking on those links from the very beginning.
Only ask for the information they need. The more fields you ask visitors to fill out in your form, the less chance you have of them completing your offer. If your conversion requires a form, get the bare minimum of what you need – you can always ask for more info on the thank you page once the deed is done. While most users don’t have a problem providing their name and email address, asking for info about phone numbers and date of birth can cause your drop off rate to skyrocket to 50%. The rule of thumb is not to include more than seven fields in your lead gen form on your landing page.
The Discovery stage is where your prospect’s interest is piqued. They are curious about your company and products and want to learn more. In this stage, you are sharing valuable educational content related to your prospect’s problem or need. This stage occurs while you are qualifying your prospect, conducting initial meetings, and defining their needs.

“Now, for the vinegar. Starting with the headline, if creating headlines was a waste of time, why do I need this product at all? And why write headlines at all in the first place?  Do their customers really say to themselves (in their owns heads), ‘this is a waste of time?’ Probably not. They attempted to call out a problem, but in this case there’s a big disconnect and it’s negative for no real reason. For example, if you’re selling an eBook, you could offer a free chapter in exchange for their email address. Submitting their email is a low barrier to entry, and they’ll receive a lot of value in return. From there, you can use their email to push them deeper into the sales funnel, especially since they have already shown interest in your product.  
Cons: The customer support has gotten worse recently. They used to have live chat on their site, now they use some weird ticketing software that I do not like. I will say this, there support is very good but a lot slower than I'd like. When they do get back to me, it typically solved my problem immediately. But sometimes it takes a full day or more for them to respond. This can be valuable lost time for a business, especially if you're running ads to a page that stops working.

Cons: I'm on the Etison Suite because I like the simplicity of using Actionetics as my email client. Yes, it is an expensive cost each month but the platform and process was created by one of the best marketers and online salespersons out there. It's ably supported by a great community of entrepreneurs all using (or trying to use) the software to get their business to the next level.
It’s easily integrated with a custom domain, so you can set up your landing pages, membership site and/or sales funnels on your own website, or a custom domain. It has a plugin that allows you to integrate it with WordPress as well, although you can’t take payments on your own WordPress site if you charge your customers for services, as they have their own set of SSL requirements when taking payments. You can also start your funnel on your website, and host the next steps of the funnel where payments are taken on the default platform for ClickFunnels.
MailChimp is a freemium email marketing tool. Similar to Wufoo, they offer a free plan (good through 2,000 contacts). A bit of background: MailChimp grew their business significantly when they decided to go freemium. How? At the bottom of every email, it would say something like Powered by MailChimp. Every customer email sent helped to spread the word. It created a kind of viral loop.
