Once the prospect is in the proverbial funnel, you've peaked their awareness. That's the first stage of the funnel. However, getting a prospect aware of you is no simple feat. Depending upon how they've arrived to your website (organically or through a paid ad), those customers might view your funnel differently and your opt-in rates will vary significantly.
Some online marketers may be counseled by a legal team to have multiple consent checkboxes for each of the means of communication they'll be contacting their subscribers (i.e. email, phone, direct mail). I am currently using LeadPages and was thinking of moving to Clickfunnels after my 14 day trial (depending on how it goes). It gets a bit annoying doing the integrations sometimes, especially that you have to always remember to connect the flow for things to work. That’s why so far I really appreciate the all-in-one feature that ClickFunnels have. I am also planning to sell my own products in the nearest future and really appreciate you letting us know about how to save $$$ by using ‘Funnel Hacks’
Trulia did something very similar to Bills.com with their landing page. It starts with a simple form asking for "an address" (which sounds less creepy than "your address," although that's what they mean). Below this simple form field is a bright orange button that contrasts well with the hero image behind the form, and emphasizes that the estimate will be personalized to your home.
I'm not sure how the algorithm works (or if there's one at all), but while I was filling it out, I had some anxiety about not qualifying. Once I found out I did, I was excited to fill out the form, which I'm sure most people who are in debt and using this tool are. By making this offer seem more exclusive before the form appeared on the landing page, I'd bet that Bills.com increased conversions pretty significantly.
Once you have selected your funnel, you need to have a template. With ClickFunnels, you are treated to a variety of templates and all of them are tested and proven to work. With a throng of proven and tested templates at your disposal, ClickFunnels accelerates your A/B testing phase because you don’t have to weed out templates that are not performing.
They have already started mentioning big names in the Internet Marketing industry whose landing pages they have published to the marketplace which continue to build and expand LeadPages‘ authority. Some of these names include Ezra Firestone (Smart Marketer), James Schramko (Super Fast Business) and Ryan Deis s(Digital Marketing)….but no Russell Brunson 😛 (by the way, all those guys are killing it as of late, so kudos to them!)
This page also happens to be their home page, so there are options for “Download,” “Sign Up” and “Log In” in the header (and that’s ignoring all of the clickable elements in the footer!). All of these options make it hard to know exactly what you are supposed to do on this page. In fact, if you scroll below the fold, you may not even be sure what you’re signing up for.

I love the simple layout of the page, from the large headline copy and detailed featured image, to the outline that surrounds the form, to the colors and fonts that are very pleasing to the eye.
You also have your email integration for your email service provider of choice. That's where all of this lives. For instance, I can choose my MailChimp account here or my Actionetics account, again, that's part of the Etison Suite that I was mentioning. I have the Etison Suite for everything that I do. And then the way the screen or the pages are constructed are in three or four, technically, but really three different ways. You've got sections, which, if you see my mouse hovering here, you can see the light, see phone green, these are the sections. Then you have rows, which are the blue that you see here, and you've got elements inside of rows and they're the orange elements.
There are email warming sequences that include things like personalized value-driven stories, tutorials and even soft pushes to webinars, and of course product suggestions that happen over days or even weeks. The truth is that most prospects won't buy from your website at first glance, especially if they're only just becoming aware of you today. It takes time. Thus, the funnel is a multi-modality process, as there are a variety of relationship-building experiences and "touches" that occur through several stages.
For example, let’s say your goal is $1,000,000 in annual revenue. If your Lifetime Customer ANNUAL value is $1,000 per year, then you only need to do $1,000 in sales every year to 1,000 customers. If you can keep those 1,000 customers around for 3 to 5 years, then your only job every year is to keep those 1,000 spots filled with nurtured prospects.
You could create a much simpler one, like say an email opt-in page (perfect if you just want to build an email list in exchange for something like a free downloadable checklist) in a couple days. But I decided to get ambitious and try selling a health supplement product right off the bat. That ended up being quite the endeavor as I hired someone to create a Facebook ad campaign for me to actually drive traffic TO the funnel. Ah yes, this is a very important part of what happens AFTER your funnel is complete. But you’ll get there.
