It’s super refreshing to see a platform with some new pages, kind of reminds me of Unbounce. As you can see in the image above, their range of page designs are quite vast (this is only for Opt Ins) and can be used in a number of ways. While they may not look as sexy as LeadPages landing pages right off the bat, at the end of the day all that matters is the conversion rates.

The sales process is not a straight line. This is why converting a lead to customer often takes its own course, and varies with business. Whether B2B or B2C sales, it’s important for sales reps to understand and visualize a lead’s journey; otherwise, they’re shooting in the dark. This is done by a series of steps which develops into what’s called the sales funnel—a concept that finds its way back to the 1890s.
Here’s an example. To create your prospect experience in the Awareness stage, think about and articulate what you will do or say to your prospects when you first meet them. Then think about how your interaction will make them feel. Consider your prospects and their needs as you’re doing this. Then, document your actions and your prospect’s experience for this stage. Repeat this throughout the entire sales funnel.
The first stage in setting up sales funnel reporting is to understand your sales process fully (perhaps using a technique like flowcharting). While sales processes are often quite similar from company-to-company, there can be points of difference depending, for example, on the size of the order and the consequences to the client of making the wrong purchase decision.
Landing pages originated with the IT departments of Microsoft in late 2003 in response to poor online sales of Office. The process was tedious and time-consuming. LeadPages is *not* the same thing as your email marketing software, such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or Infusionsoft. LeadPages helps you get more subscribers, but does not allow you to send regular emails to your list. So, LeadPages can be used to grow your email list and then you can use another service to communicate with that list. Make sense? In that case, why would someone want to use LeadPages? Because they offer tons of templates to help you make high-converting landing pages and allow you to easily send content upgrades.
Hello Mark, I absolutely loved this article. It’s very thorough. I wanted to ask in Step 3 that is “Defining the Criteria for Each Stage” in each sub-step if the customer is not responding to sales call we are sending them back to the previous sub-step. In between each sub-step, can we put one more stage where we are approaching the customer one more time through Email or SMS where in we give them a last chance to move forward and if they don’t reply to it, then we put them back in the previous sub-step?
When you NURTURE prospects, you give them what they need to grow strong and healthy. Obviously not every prospect will grow into a “Lifetime Customer” regardless of what you do. That’s just the nature of lists, email marketing, and all the rest. Still, it’s so important to remember that a list of 100,000 weak and “under nurtured” prospects will never stand up against a list of just 100 “strong and healthy” prospects.

However, the video lacks subtitles, and there’s no way to see how long it is. I have no alternative but to uninstall the plugins and go with another unless the developer “sees the light” and decides to create some simple directions and figure out how to keep the help videos on the dashboard page. The developer would have seen a much larger response to selling premium if the free versions atleast worked or just answer support. I see this alot when dealing with wordpress developers and I could never figure out why!

On MailChimp’s pricing page, the focus is on getting you signed up for free, with an email, username, and password. They want to get you up and running and start using the product as soon as possible. They hope you will help them market themselves by using their products and spreading MailChimp further. Email marketing is often a one-too-many communication platform. The more you use it, the more likely you are to upgrade.
