Measuring how well your sales team is converting leads is imperative to determine the quality of leads and individual sales rep’s performance. With a CRM, you can create reports to know how your leads are converting through different stages by sales reps, and by campaign too. Analyzing which leads are moving down the funnel and converting allows you to plan better conversion strategies.
In this example, Spotify attracted you to their service through a mix of SEO and brand recognition. Their offer for a free Spotify subscription converted you from an anonymous website visitor into a lead and the email helped close the deal. But it didn't stop there. The high quality of service and social sharing options inspired you to refer friends so the cycle could continue.
A good landing page should naturally lead a user to the conclusion that converting is in their best interest. To do that, however, you need to know exactly what you want them to do and why they might not want to do it. Then, throughout your landing page, you address their concerns and sell them on the value of what they get in exchange for converting.
Then of course, when you're done you hit save and you exit. And opt-in funnels always have thank you pages, so that when people do opt-in the next page sets expectations, gives instruction, allows them to download the resource that you promised them. So, you can provide buttons, images. Inside the buttons you've always got a opportunity to provide a downloadable URL, which also you can host inside of ClickFunnels via your digital assets menu. And the digital assets menu is, of course, inside your account menu here. So much flexibility, so much power inside of ClickFunnels. It's really outrageous.

We could improve this further with the usage of ‘we’ to mean both the user and ConvertKit by about halfway through the page. Chris is right, it is not the cost, it is the investment you are willing to make into your business here. Personally, I took the attitude of it being too costly at first, and trust me, I can afford it, I am just frugal. But now, looking at the powerful software and tool that it is, well, I am switching from Thrive to ClickFunnels. The sales funnel simply depicts how leads traverse through your sales process from start to close. It’s only a visual representation of the numbers game in the form of a funnel; there’s more than meets the eye. If you analyse the number of leads who enter your funnel and the number who convert to customers, more than likely you’ll find there’s a huge dip. Sometimes prospects drop out of the sides of your funnel when their needs don’t match your services. While it’s nearly impossible to retain every prospect who enters your funnel, it’s however important for your sales team to make efforts to retain the ones who are ready to buy.


Create eye catching headlines. Most good landing pages use the main headline to confirm the offer and use a sub heading for more explanation or value proposition (aka why your offer is awesome).  An example might be, “Free Facebook Marketing Ebook (headline), Learn how to get more Facebook followers, likes, and engagement from our marketing gurus (sub heading).” You’ll see plenty of great landing page headlines in our examples below, and you’ll see that some invert this so that the value proposition is the headline.

Leadpages provides HTML5 templates for contact pages, webinar pages, sales lead and other types of landing pages that customers use to improve leads and get better conversions. The service runs on Google App Engine and uses technology such as Big Table to analyze the landing page data. Unlike competitors that use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), Leadpages does not have to translate into HTML. Instead the HTML pages are already made, which allows for the data to be decoupled and analyzed in the Google cloud stack. The pages are optimized for any mobile device.
When I first wrote this article in 2011, I mentioned how the marketing copy for Crazy Egg’s heat-mapping feature could have been stronger by better explaining how the tool helps customers to increase conversions. While this information is clearer now thanks to the detailed visuals and simple copy layout that allows the reader to skim and scan — it could be better by explaining a bit more.
