If you’re using Facebook ads, then one of the best things you can do is send viewers to a landing page, rather than to a blog post, or worst of all, a straight up sales page. Sending them to a landing page means that they only have ONE choice: to subscribe or leave. There are no other distractions to keep them from opting in, so if they like your offer, they’ll subscribe. If you are selling something, then you can then put them in an email sequence to pitch your product to them. See how that works?
Bottom line, there’s a few things I’d like to highlight for the pages available. ClickFunnels only lets you access certain pages and funnels based on your account level ($97+ gets you all the access) where LeadPages lets you access everything from $37. Having said that, as seen in the pricing table, split tests are not included in a LeadPages basic plan.

The problem with Leadpages Pricing is that you don't get split testing capabilities at their startup price point. This is not good, nor something you want to miss out on. You have to split test as a marketer or you are flying blind. I explain more in this post on split testing.
A good landing page should naturally lead a user to the conclusion that converting is in their best interest. To do that, however, you need to know exactly what you want them to do and why they might not want to do it. Then, throughout your landing page, you address their concerns and sell them on the value of what they get in exchange for converting.

After all, marketers make money off of telling people their product is great. Maybe your offer is as good as you say it is, but it’s hard to believe someone who gets paid to talk about how awesome their offer is.

Have been through many rounds of A/B testing. Testing and correction is how we learn and better ourselves. A/B testing your landing page (tweaking individual elements and seeing how they perform against the previous setup) is probably the most powerful tool in creating excellent landing pages. Not sure where to start? Signal vs. Noise provides a nice example of good A/B testing that’s an easy read. There are always things you can do to improve, so don’t ever stop testing!
Let’s be clear—leads won’t automatically move down the funnel. Sales reps have to continue to do their part of selling and allow the CRM to update the lead’s stage in the funnel by completing certain actions. You can setup workflow automations in the CRM to change lead stages. For example, after you’ve contacted a lead, the CRM will automatically update the lead’s stage based on the last activity.

The fact that you go into so much detail about Funnel hacks, both the pro’s and the con’s really makes me believe in it and you. This was very informative. Thank you. I actually own an insurance business which specifically focuses on health insurance. Normally, we generate our leads from referrals and lead generation companies but it seems like we are making these lead generation companies rich for what often turns out to be poor quality leads. Do you know of instances where click funnels and lead pages have been used for marketing and selling insurance products? It seems that based on what I am reading it’s really geared more towards a tangible product or service. What are your thoughts? Thank you again!

It's no surprise Unbounce is near the top of this list -- they've actually written the book on creating high-converting landing pages. Although there are lots of amazing things about this landing page, the two that I absolutely love are: 1) The use of a chat window instead of a classic form, and 2) the detailed -- but well packaged -- information below the form.


They have already started mentioning big names in the Internet Marketing industry whose landing pages they have published to the marketplace which continue to build and expand LeadPages‘ authority. Some of these names include Ezra Firestone (Smart Marketer), James Schramko (Super Fast Business) and Ryan Deis s(Digital Marketing)….but no Russell Brunson 😛 (by the way, all those guys are killing it as of late, so kudos to them!)
I wanted to also show you, which by the way, you can delete or archive funnels that you don't want. So, I'm archiving this test funnel immediately. This should take me back to the main page. It does. One of the cool things about ClickFunnels is that you can share funnel. So, quite literally, let's say you want my event application opt-in funnel. I can go to settings and I can grab what we call the share funnel link, which is right here, and I can send that to you and you can import it directly into your account, and it's super easy. Quite literally, click on it and boom, it lets you into your account. And you get all these cool prebuilt features, cuts down on time a whole lot and allows you to concentrate on optimizing instead of always building.
The truth? People are smart. They're not simply going to buy anything from anyone unless they feel there's an immense amount of value to be had there. Thus, your funnel needs to built that value and bake it in through a variety of means. But most importantly, you have to create a strong bond with your prospect, and that happens by being relatable, honest and transparent in your email warming sequence.
Hello Sunil.. thank you for your feedback, it’s great to hear that you are finding this article useful. Re your question: yes, it makes sense to follow-up as often as you need to to reach the decision-maker. At the early stage of cold calling / emailing / SMS you may have to follow-up 6-12 times with a combination of cold calls and cold emails before you get to kick-started with your prospective customer. Obviously if they unsubscribe or say no then you have to respect this. At later stages, non-response would indicate that your prospective customer no longer sees (or has doubts) about the potential value of the solution you are selling. After following-up 2 times at a later stage, I would make it easy for your prospect to voice their concerns by communicating something like: “I’m struggling to reach you, perhaps we could hop on a call for 5 minutes as I’d like to understand your current thoughts rather than assume you are no longer interested in progressing.”

Therefore the page will probably ask you if you want to use the card associated with your account. You either agree or disagree, and then you click on the ‘Upgrade My Account’ button. What’s going to happen is your Clickfunnels account will probably be upgraded to the Enterprise level.

I have a product-based business (skincare to be precise) and I’ve been doing a lot of research on sales funnels over the past few days but only ever come across examples for service-based businesses and struggle to apply those to my business. I do offer a free skincare guide at opt in but can’t think of anything else for the follow up emails to create trust as well as a limited time offer. Would you have any suggestions?
