But, given the volume of leads that fill your funnel, sales teams have a hard time converting leads into customers because they cannot discern the hot from the cold. The penultimate stage of the sales process is working out the fine details and establishing a commitment to the deal. Although sales reps set the table for success, when it comes to closing—win rates are quite unpredictable.
You also have your email integration for your email service provider of choice. That's where all of this lives. And then the way the screen or the pages are constructed are in three or four, technically, but really three different ways. You've got sections, which, if you see my mouse hovering here, you can see the light, see phone green, these are the sections. For example, if you’re selling an eBook, you could offer a free chapter in exchange for their email address. Submitting their email is a low barrier to entry, and they’ll receive a lot of value in return. From there, you can use their email to push them deeper into the sales funnel, especially since they have already shown interest in your product.

The Discovery stage is where your prospect’s interest is piqued. They are curious about your company and products and want to learn more. In this stage, you are sharing valuable educational content related to your prospect’s problem or need. This stage occurs while you are qualifying your prospect, conducting initial meetings, and defining their needs.

Let’s be clear—leads won’t automatically move down the funnel. Sales reps have to continue to do their part of selling and allow the CRM to update the lead’s stage in the funnel by completing certain actions. You can setup workflow automations in the CRM to change lead stages. For example, after you’ve contacted a lead, the CRM will automatically update the lead’s stage based on the last activity.
If you're wondering what a sales funnel is, simply imagine a real-world funnel. At the top of that funnel, some substance is poured in, which filters down towards one finite destination. In sales, something similar occurs. At the top, lots of visitors arrive who may enter your funnel. However, unlike the real-world funnel, not all who enter the sales funnel will reemerge out from the other end. 
Follow-up with a thank you page. The thank-you page is a great way to guide visitors to other related material on your website that they may be interested in. Providing this added info in the initial landing page would have been distracting and could have led visitors away from making a conversion. However, now that you’ve sealed the deal, the thank-you page is the perfect place to suggest related products, guides and information your audience may find helpful, or links to other parts of your site, such as your company blog.

Studies from ConversionXL suggest that removing navigation links from the middle of the funnel landing pages seeing 16% and 28% lift in conversions, while top of the funnel landing pages are seeing an insignificant 0-4% increase in conversion rates.
“Some curated content from previous newsletters or a more substantial piece of content would help cement the relationship from the reader who hasn’t actually had any benefit from Jimmy yet.  There’s a free email course linked in the menu which would be a good start, or other ideas would be to get readers to consume content from you in other channels.
“It’s clear that the goal on this page is to get someone to leave their email address, but there is a lot to distract them, the very first link is to ‘Powered by SumoMe’ at the very top of the page, the social share icons are an overlay that appears after page load. You need to test all these, how many people click these, how many social shares do you get from the share widget, how valuable is the evidence that many people have shared the page – is it worth the distraction. How many people click SumoMe and don’t complete the form – testing will tell you all of this.

Most likely it’s an issue with the customers not knowing what to do or what to expect. Also, it could be that your leads just don’t know what the offer is. The other possibility is that your bridge page is not per positioning the offer correctly. Again, if sales is the problem you have to look at what you are promising before you send them to the sales page.

There are email warming sequences that include things like personalized value-driven stories, tutorials and even soft pushes to webinars, and of course product suggestions that happen over days or even weeks. The truth is that most prospects won't buy from your website at first glance, especially if they're only just becoming aware of you today. It takes time. Thus, the funnel is a multi-modality process, as there are a variety of relationship-building experiences and "touches" that occur through several stages. 
Are fast as Ferraris. Speed is essential, as loading times have a tremendous affect on bounce rates. An excellent landing page is built like a bullet, so get out your stop watch and get your landing page moving at a healthy clip. Reduce load times by not making your images files any larger than they have to be, using cache tools, and using a speedy web host (some are a lot faster than other).

Being a few years beyond the Millennial generation, I was in need of a conversation with a Clickfunnels representative to answer my questions. You could create a much simpler one, like say an email opt-in page (perfect if you just want to build an email list in exchange for something like a free downloadable checklist) in a couple days. But I decided to get ambitious and try selling a health supplement product right off the bat. That ended up being quite the endeavor as I hired someone to create a Facebook ad campaign for me to actually drive traffic TO the funnel. Ah yes, this is a very important part of what happens AFTER your funnel is complete. But you’ll get there.
Remove unnecessary words — Every word existing on your page must be necessary. If you can remove a word without it reducing how enticing, clear, or useful a sentence is, remove it. (Excess verbiage increases the visitor's labor, which triggers their impulse to skim.) A tip: avoid clichés like revolutionary, incredibly powerful, best-ever, and so on. Other products claim these qualities, so visitors are blind to them. It's better to specifically describe how you're different.

Using activity schedulers is another way to manage prospects through a sales funnel. Activity schedulers allow you to schedule sales activities and incorporate them into your calendar. Doing this helps you focus on prospect engagement activities that are most likely to move them through the sales cycle. They are also a tool to help remember to carry out these activities.
Hi Terence, first off I would like to say that an interesting and thorough review. The fact that you go into so much detail about Funnel hacks, both the pro’s and the con’s really makes me believe in it and you. It sounds like something I will definitely consider as soon as I get my own product to sell (which I am still working on at the minute). And if it works then it’s worth every penny I say.
Pros: Let's face it, funnels are the way to go to assist a customer in a purchase decision. Click Funnels is a easy to use and well put together platform. Their training sequence is fun and effective. They do an excellent job at making you feel a part of a club. I was on the trial offer and did not opt for a paid plan and I will elaborate below. Does this funnel system work- yes. Can a beginner do well with the CF software- maybe. Do they deliver the product they sell and provide appropriate support, absolutely. Is it worth per month? That is for you to decide but for me it was a no. Here is why-
I wanted to also show you, which by the way, you can delete or archive funnels that you don't want. So, I'm archiving this test funnel immediately. This should take me back to the main page. It does. One of the cool things about ClickFunnels is that you can share funnel. So, quite literally, let's say you want my event application opt-in funnel. I can go to settings and I can grab what we call the share funnel link, which is right here, and I can send that to you and you can import it directly into your account, and it's super easy. Quite literally, click on it and boom, it lets you into your account. And you get all these cool prebuilt features, cuts down on time a whole lot and allows you to concentrate on optimizing instead of always building.
