Cons: I've tried out the product after being slammed with 3-4 emails per day. Funny thing is I did a 14-day trial and was already planning on sticking around, not sure why I needed to get so many emails every day that was a bit annoying. After I upgraded I realized that all the best funnels were additional fees, and also the email automation was additional fees as well. The cost insist cheap for this software. I see some value if you really are focused on your business, this is not for a passive user as the fees add up quickly.

I have a product-based business (skincare to be precise) and I’ve been doing a lot of research on sales funnels over the past few days but only ever come across examples for service-based businesses and struggle to apply those to my business. I do offer a free skincare guide at opt in but can’t think of anything else for the follow up emails to create trust as well as a limited time offer. Would you have any suggestions?
Pros: I have 10 different companies that I manage. I use click funnel pages for everything. I can create a landing page for a Facebook ad, Instagram ad, YouTube and any promotion I need! Their platform is very user friendly. You can create something super simple or create an expert page. They integrate with many other platforms. I can add paypal and aweber to my click funnel pages. Support is awesome!
This page also happens to be their home page, so there are options for “Download,” “Sign Up” and “Log In” in the header (and that’s ignoring all of the clickable elements in the footer!). All of these options make it hard to know exactly what you are supposed to do on this page. In fact, if you scroll below the fold, you may not even be sure what you’re signing up for.
Once you choose your opt-in template then you're ready to customize, which is what I've done over here with my client's opt-in funnel. The other thing that you do, and if you've learned anything about marketing online or any kind of marketing for that matter, is A/B split testing, is very important so that you can know what works and what doesn't and you can make your campaigns better and better, smarter and smarter and more and more effective. So, there's a little preview window and once you've run enough traffic to these A and B variance then you can actually declare a winner, and then allow that to be your control or your control variant. To edit these pages you simply click on at page and it takes you into the page editor or the webpage editor.
Not long ago I made the decision to move from regular work to freelancing. I knew from experience that success depends on my ability to generate a consistent flow of leads. But, I cannot afford to waste a lot of money in the process. I have no problem investing but getting a return on that investment is critical. When money is tight we have to spend time. This means making trade-offs between spending time and spending money.
Cons: The advance funnels are not easy & make you work to understand the concept & how to implement it for your business. So you will have to spend quite some time to understand how to make advanced funnels work for you. Seems archaic with its interface & editor while compared to other competitors. A limited number of templates is a handicap at times. Integration is straightforward, but tracking can be tricky on the dashboard & you always feel there is double counting - as it clearly doesn't show who bought at which stage.
The Discovery stage is where your prospect’s interest is piqued. They are curious about your company and products and want to learn more. In this stage, you are sharing valuable educational content related to your prospect’s problem or need. This stage occurs while you are qualifying your prospect, conducting initial meetings, and defining their needs.
Actionetics is ClickFunnels’ e-mail automation application which is native to ClickFunnels. Producing e-mails and messages are facilitated with the e-mail builder which has a nearly similar characteristic to the funnel builder. Another cool aspect of Actionetics is its Action Funnels function. Action Funnels let you hyper-segment contacts to set off specific actions whether it is internal or external. Internal actions consist of being eliminated to an email list, added to email list, etc. External actions include being able to get email series.
For example, if you’re selling an eBook, you could offer a free chapter in exchange for their email address. Submitting their email is a low barrier to entry, and they’ll receive a lot of value in return. From there, you can use their email to push them deeper into the sales funnel, especially since they have already shown interest in your product.
Overall: I tried to use it for 6-8 months, I am located in Costa Rica (Central America), and there are a lot of restrictions mainly with currency. It looks like it works fine with the integration of Stripe because you can do upgrades, sidegrades and downgrades, however if I am not mistaken, it only works in USA. In my case, only Paypal works and is very limited.
Pros: Everything is included. Everything you need from an online marketing/funnels standpoint is all included. No piecing together pieces of software or programs here and there. Integrations are so easy and everything just works. Documentation is superb if you have any questions. You need to implement funnels from a strategy standpoint and every alternative is just much more complicated.
Cons: There seems to be a lot of issues with their back end server infrastructure and cache updates. Elements and page orders, etc. do not always update as you expect them to, as well as their server systems have proven to be only about 90% reliable. Not a problem at low traffic volumes, but a huge issue for anyone driving thousands of users per hour to their sites. Support is also not that knowledgable or helpful, though they try their best.
Their homepage has an interesting graphic. It’s the first step of the sales funnel. A branding line similar to Mint.com’s, MailChimp’s slogan Being yourself makes all the difference really has nothing to do with the tool. That might be a good thing. It’s aspirational marketing not unlike Grasshopper above. It’s about identity, freedom, and self-expression — ideas that are bigger than a product.
