You can expect this post to be updated quite regularly as I am really excited to see where this goes. Like I mentioned earlier, I’ll endeavour to keep this post updated as much as possible as new features and changes come up for both companies. Include more than one call to action (CTA) on your website. Chances are that your website visitors will be at different stages of the customer journey. Some might be ready to call or email while others might be researching. Make sure to include offers like free eBooks or whitepapers to capture names and email addresses for those who aren't quite ready to talk to your sales team.
Of course, if you're going the paid ad route, you could also use Facebook and Google re-targeting to keep that awareness and interest level high. For example, if you've ever noticed after leaving a particular website, that you begin to see their ad everywhere, there's a particular reason for that. Especially if they've already entered your sales funnel, this is a very powerful way to get them to act.
In online marketing, a landing page, sometimes known as a "lead capture page", "static page" or a "lander", or a "destination page", is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on a search engine optimized search result or an online advertisement. The landing page will usually display directed sales copy that is a logical extension of the advertisement, search result or link. Landing pages are used for lead generation. The actions that a visitor takes on a landing page is what determines an advertiser's conversion rate.
ClickFunnels is now a fairly mature service developed by Russell Brunson and his team. It’s now been up and running for more than 3 years at the time of this review. As a quick aside, I learned about ClickFunnels through Russell’s new book DotCom Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company Online. If you want to learn how to sell products, then I highly recommend it.
Thanks Matt, the client attraction stage is the big thing. With relatively low client numbers I’m able nurture and provide relevant & specific information. I look arrange phone or in person meetings. So attracting clients who can identify with a specific or range of personal (to them) challenges which I’m able to demonstrate I can solve is perhaps the primary focus for me at the prospect acquisition point. I hope that makes sense:)
This metric denotes the time it takes to convert a lead from the first contact to purchase. In other words, it tells you how long a sales rep spends to close an opportunity. Drilling into this critical metric reveals the effectiveness of your sales team, and helps you identify any barriers in your sales process. After all, the shorter the sales cycle length, the faster your revenue stream.
If people want to convert many of their leads into sales, then they would often pay high prices in search of a well-functioning funnel which effectively converts customers and makes sales. However, you don’t necessarily have to use expensive tools in order to get those conversions anymore. Trulia did something very similar to Bills.com with their landing page. It starts with a simple form asking for "an address" (which sounds less creepy than "your address," although that's what they mean). Below this simple form field is a bright orange button that contrasts well with the hero image behind the form, and emphasizes that the estimate will be personalized to your home.
A good practice when managing your sales funnel in a CRM is to be consistent in updating the lead stage. As leads progress down the funnel, you must be able to analyze the number of leads by stage in order to ensure your funnel is always full to the brim with leads. It’s also important to know what stage each lead is at to know what to do next. So once the lead has been contacted, move the lead from new to contacted stage. Actually, the CRM can move it down the funnel automatically.
As you can see in the video above, ClickFunnels has a completely brand new interface you can take advantage of. It’s beautiful and stunning so you’ll be able to design even nicer looking landing pages. The first thing you’ll notice about the new interface is the toolbar across the top of the editor and revised looking toolbar alongside the right of the editor.
Measuring how well your sales team is converting leads is imperative to determine the quality of leads and individual sales rep’s performance. With a CRM, you can create reports to know how your leads are converting through different stages by sales reps, and by campaign too. Analyzing which leads are moving down the funnel and converting allows you to plan better conversion strategies.

The first stage in setting up sales funnel reporting is to understand your sales process fully (perhaps using a technique like flowcharting). While sales processes are often quite similar from company-to-company, there can be points of difference depending, for example, on the size of the order and the consequences to the client of making the wrong purchase decision.
